Yes, if you have one of these: not interested in:

  • sports
  • gaming or tech
  • fitness
  • foodie gifts
  • alcohol
  • tools (he has enough)
  • brands/clothes
  • metrosexual stuff

I feel your pain.
Gift ideas?

Same here... I’m buying him sunglasses for our January hol (hoping it goes ahead!), A hamper of toiletries that I know he uses, loungewear... then I have to think of things to buy him for his birthday a week later!

I'm in the same boat! I'm thinking maybe air pods because he does like music and doesn't have any yet

Damn! Sunglasses would have been great but he has prescription transitions, damn him!

Mine also tends to be the "never opens stuff and it ends up in a drawer" type of husband at Christmas too.

He sounds like the kind of man gift experiences were made for!

Mine is at least wearing the £70 sheepskin slippers I bought him last year. Most other things have been ignored.

Cinema pass? Books? Annual entrance for a local attraction/national trust membership?

I get mine photos / gifts related to the real love of his life - the dog 🙄 I am thinking a week away from me for the 2 of them.

Does he like films/TV?

If he does, check out displates. Pictures from iconic movies on metal plates.

Ooh that's a good idea. I think that's what I'll get mine. He's always annoying me for my headphones and hunting for the kids cheapie airpods.

He has no interests! Seriously. He just goes out visiting his mates, wandering about the place etc.
The only things he asks for are big items - quad, tractor etc.

An oodie in black, grey or navy if they come back in stock in time, and if not then a knockoff version.

Does he spend much time outdoors?

My father was similar but always appreciated good quality fleeces, thick wool socks, warm gloves. Somewhere like Rohan which would be more than expensive than stuff he'd buy himself- but he'd appreciate the difference in quality.

He hates being indoors, loves being outside BUT isnt a camping, hiking sort of guy. More fixing fences and moving fallen trees ind of guy.

Does he actually want or appreciate receiving gifts? If not, why bother getting him anything? Or just one token gift so that you don't feel like Scrooge?

Men love tools.

A chainsaw to cut up the fallen trees?
