I’ve nearly finished getting my kids presents and then I can move on to the adults but as I would like a few more ideas I was wondering what you was getting for your kids?

Mine are a bit older and my ds, who also has asd, is happy with anything as long as it’s Lego!

Erasable markers have been a hit here.
Moonballs seem to have taken off again in school so I might get them new colours.
Big hits from previous years were a gymnast’s ribbon on a stick (I’ve no gymnasts here but they both loved this), a book of hand shadows with a torch, and a morse code guide with a torch.

These paper dolls went down really well with dd a couple of years ago and kept her busy for an afternoon. There are lots of less expensive ones on Etsy too.

Dd1 (16)
Ipad
Weighted blanket
Stitch 2020 plush from Disney store

Dd2 (14, ASD)
Lego technics truck/crane
Lego Harry Potter house
Lego speed car set
Kenetic sand
Bird felting kit
Light up race track thing from Amazon

Me and DD2 tried out dd1’s weighted blanket last week and now dd2 wants one, your DS might like one.

light up tube track

Dd2 loves anything that needs building, marble run is one of her favourites, Lego, meccano, knex etc...

I could easily get carried away with Lego for dd2 but we haven’t got much space so I’m trying not to buy too much this year. Though I feel bad as I have spent a fortune on dd1 as she needed a ipad for a level work.

I'm stumped this year. DD(8) doesn't know what she wants.

So far I think she's getting a new CD/DAB micro system for her room. The cheapo one she got a few years ago switches off after an hour and she loves listening to my CDs while she plays.

Some extension bits for her Gravitrax . Looking at loop the loops and trampolines for it.

DD(18month).
So far a small football. Really struggling for her.

Thankyou all for the reply’s, I’ve realised that my girls have enough but I’ve found three more presents for my son that I have just ordered, he has limited interests and his birthday is just before Christmas so it’s always hard trying to think of things that he will be exited about.

DS(8)
Merch from his favorite YouTube channel (Alternate history, USSR plushy)
Novelty hoody printed to look like Robert the Bruce's battle gear.
Toy Neolithic spear, medieval mace and medieval flail (from English Heritage shop)
Some books about history
Graphic novel version of the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists
Horrible Histories board game.
New tablet

DD (5)
Really massive Dolls house
Vanellope Von Sweetz doll (the girl character in Wreck it Ralph)
Make up set
Craft stuff
Toca Life sticker book
My Naughty Little Sister story books

DS has ASD, really niche interests and a zen like contentment so long as he has access to YouTube. He's quite hard to buy for.

DD has the opposite problem of desperately wanting whatever shiny new thing she last saw on TV.

@FixItUpChappie how did you get the Jungle Cruise Board Game. I thought it was still only available through Amazon US? As a big Jungle Cruise fan, I’d really love to get hold of it without paying 20 quid for shipping!!

My son has been absolutely spoiled by his grandparents (dress up outfits, couple of farm sets, remote control tractor, coffee shop play set, large tool set, cycle helmet and clothes)
His dad had got him 3 Brio train sets with extra tracks and his auntie a kids camera and outdoor adventure set.

I’ve got him a bike and nothing else yet. I’ll probably get him something crafty for his stocking and a book. Otherwise, he’s had more than enough I think!
