...trouble you to weigh it for me?!

Just had my first mince pie of the season from Bettys and the nutritional info is per 100g not per pie. I'm at work so I don't have scales to hand. I'm calorie counting and it should fit within my allowance for today as long as it's less than 300- fingers crossed! It was good though...

I find that so annoying. They should have to put the nutritional info on per item IMO.

I was ranting about this at the weekend Grin

Sorry no I do not want to know when I’m eating a flacks pasty puff mince pie from the co op. I only have them when available so a rare treat.

Surely there's going to be potentially enough difference in nutritional values between different brands/types of mince pie for it not to make much sense to bother with comparing your 100g values with someone else's 65g ones?

If it's your first mince pie of the season, then it's a well known fact that it will be calorie free.

@AdaColeman I wish!!!

Yes @Marmite27 this is the bane of my life, so much so I am considering getting travel scales 🙈

There's no box as it was an individual one from Bettys, the nutritional info on the website is per 100g.

65g puts it at 249 calories and it was gone in seconds Grin

I'm type 1 diabetic and take travel scales everywhere for this purpose (carbs rather than calories) Grin

I have travel/ jewellery scales that weigh up to 500g.

Paired with a munchkin collapsible silicone dish for weaning babies it works well and doesn’t take up too much space in my bag.

T2 here too, like a PP. I still think they should have to put NI on per item. It’s getting better in that respect, but still lots without Angry
