So next week we are going to bognor and they have a home bargains and b&m down there! Im going without children so hoping to get some stocking fillers, Christmas treats and gifts! What things shall I look out for?
Any gems hidden in either one?

My dds are nearly 12 and 8. 😁

I do like home bargains, we have a smallish one in the next town I tend to pop in once a week when visiting mum.
One thing I have got I recently gave to a friend and it was a big hit! This was a chocolate snowman filled with chocolate and marshmallows and you put it in a mug of hot milk and it makes a special hot chocolate! My friend was very happy I got her one as she had seen them. They are not extortionate either I think £1.49 for one.
I got a b&m up the road from me, they got a few bits in already, hopefully by next week they might have more for you as Halloween will be nearly over too.
Have a nice time OP!

I work in Bognor and am bemused by it being a shopping destination! Shock

I will look out for those snowmen though - perfect for a stocking filler for my 4 kids. Grin

They have jumbo packs of lace sweets and Pringles that are big hits with my teens (and great for teen gifts).

Home bargains have marshmallow hot chocolate toppers in polar bear designs. I’m not sure whether you NEED them. But I definitely did, yes. Two packs.

B&M had some cute flavoured hot chocolate stirrers, pack of 3 for £1.49 today. Lots of stocking filler choc things, mugs and coffee flavourings for older teens. Nipped in for crisps and shampoo, came out with a huge bagful of junk and £28 lighter.

Annual trip Shock
God I’m in our HB every week looking at what random biscuit offerings they have this week
Love it

Can’t stand b&m though it just smells of cheap plastic

I went to Home Bargains and B&M yesterday and both had lots of nice items:

Bath bombs £1.50 - £2 in Home Bargains

Lip balms sets (in both stores but B&M has the edge)

Swizzlers mini perfume set (£5 B&M)

Jelly Xmas lollies - I bought elf ones for 59p in Home Bargains.

Home Bargains had some science sets eg crystal growing and bath bomb making.

B&M had mini speakers, headphones, phone chargers etc for your elder child. Also lava lamps.

Thanks everyone!!

Haha! Sounds funny saying shopping destination, its more to go to b&m/home bargains and the massive sainsburys there. I dont drive so going with my mum, its a bit further than we'd normally go so not somewhere we go often.

I live near Brighton, We normally go to Oxford Street in October half term for Xmas shopping but not sure I want to head into London right now!

Its probably good for the purse not to have a b&m or home bargains too close 😂

Dd1 who's nearly 12 has mentioned make up but doesn't have any yet, so thinking mascara, eye shadow palette and some lip gloss. Shes not particularly girly (more goth/funky style)

They love a hot chocolate or bath bombs so definitely on the list!

Surely the bargains in B&M choose you - you can't know in advance what you'll get and that why it's so fun.

And dog jumpers!

Haha @nodogz I agree they choose you.

Not got a HB near us but we do have a B&M. I would say some American sweets or biscuits for stockings.

I also got dd a desktop magnetic fidget thing - a black base with loads of moon and stars that are magnetic to build sculptures with if that makes sense.

I also stocked up on Christmas wrapping paper.

B&M have a mirror with LED lights which is also a Bluetooth speaker too. It’s about 20 quid so maybe pricey but if your daughter is getting into make up etc she might like that. I’ve put it on my Christmas list and I’m 27 😂

B&M have lovely red velvet initial Christmas sacks if you can find your letters!

Home bargain - twix tops, the best biscuits!
Koka noodles, granola, good crisp selection! Tempo tissues, cat litter, webbox cat treats.
Microwave popcorn packs
