Travel mug/flask

Evening all!
I know it's boring but I'm after a travel mug for DH birthday or Christmas present. Please don't recommend Boden, tried four over the years and they've all been awful (leak or don't keep drink hot).
I've looked at klean kanteen but am overwhelmed by choice but also the lid, I'd want a screw top with something that opens to take a sip, klean kanteen looks like a push on lid that can pop off easily.
Needs to be spill proof please and keep drink hot. I always make sure to put boiling water in the flask first to warm it up then tip out and make tea in it.
Thank you!

I don't use them but DH has a mighty mug. He's tried a few other brands that were prettier but he didn't rate them compared to the mighty mug.

I have a contigo. Its got a lid that twists on and has a bit that pops open, although I guess you could unscrew the whole thing if you prefer. Stays hot for 8+hours, never leaked.

We have Contigo - expensive but really good. They don’t leak at all, are steel so they don’t break, and they can go in the dishwasher (think they say don’t put the coloured ones in but we do anyway with no problems)

Google corkcircle OP. They have a huge range of insulated flasks... essentially it is a flask but these don't look like your typical flasks. They Keep hot drinks hot for 12 hours ( I can vouch for that ) & they are handy in the summer as they keep cold drinks cold for hours on end. Me & my partner have one each & they are fab. They are sold everywhere, from ASOS to camping shops to Amazon. They are really smart & trendy looking too 👌🏻

We have the nespresso ones. They are great. Stylish, keep it hot and don’t leak even when chucked upside down in a bag

We've got camelback ones, stay hot for hours (I've had teas at 2pm made in the morning before), simple drinking valve which doesn't leak and can be locked own if you want, and very robust. Fairly expensive but we've had ours several years.

I think with Klean Kanteen you want a tk wide. You could get a cafe cap (this is the usual one for sipping coffee or tea so you'd slightly twist to get an opening and is leakproof when closed) but if you then wanted to use the same bottle for water or soft drinks you could get a chug cap as well (totally leak proof) or even a cap with a little straw (I think not leakproof). You may also to be ab,e to fit a growler cap on a tk wide for leakproof fizzy drink carrying but don't quote me on that las way.

I personally have 4 KKs can you tell Grin

So many replies thank you! It's a twist cap with a little opening that I'd want to buy. I'll have a nosey at that article thank you!
Contigo is the majority on here though by the looks of it, I'll get looking for offers! Can I ask about size, what's a normal size please for just one cup of tea? I noticed klean kanteen come in a few different ozs, is it the same with contigo? (I'm yet to look)

The Contigo holds a big mug (half pint) of tea. Screw cap with silly bit. Mine is 6 years old and going strong.

I have two different size contigo travel mugs, one is 300ml (bought to fit under Waitrose coffee machines) and the other 450ml ish. Lids are interchangeable between the two.
