DD eats, sleeps, breathes gymnastics. She doesn't need anything related to gymnastics at the moment.
She's got lots of make up and now prefers showers over baths so still lots of bath bombs as well.
Outside of gym she likes playing on the trampoline, family walks, drawing (looking at some more arts and crafts things) and slime.
What are you getting your 9-11 year olds?

My DD is 10 and wants an instax mini Polaroid camera.

Other than that I’m stuck this year.

Im struggling with dd10. She lives and breaths ballet. She doesn't need anything related to her hobby. So far ive got her some large pink bluetooth speaker and a couple of harry potter books. Im thinking some girls perfume from Next and some jewellery.

Will look at the camera.
Mumshappy, now I think about it she started showing at interest in body sprays/mist so might add them to the list. She's got a few perfumes that got last Christmas and her birthday but suppose I could add another.
Mines not really a reader :-(
She wants some new clothes but FC can't just bring a pile of clothes.

I agree with you about the clothes OP. Dd still believes and this will probably be the last year she does so I cant justify clothes really.

Getting mine her own hairdryer as she turns 11, as she gets more showers now, and has long hair.

A hairdryer is being added to my list. Thank you Sissy

Mumshappy think it will be the last year for DD too :-(
Hairdryer is a good idea, she's been showering after gym and going straight to bed but might actually like the idea of her own hairdryer.
Feeling positive now that I might be able to make a start and might not need to go to too many shops :-)

I dont have a dd, I have a ds that's a similar age and likes drawing and is also switching to showers more. Couple of small ideas,

A really nice pencil roll with decent sketching pencils in it.
The foaming shower gel is a nice stocking filler.
Shower speaker if she likes music.
My ds is desperate for copic pens, but they are super pricey, some of the cheaper brands look okay though.
Ds just recently got a fleece weighted blanket and he loves it for settling after a busy day, if he's been at a long training session etc...

Dd is 10 and so far I have, or am thinking...

Bath bombs
Knickers and crop tops from river island (she loves river island)
Pick n mix (she loves sweets and doesn't get them often)
Some awful slime
Simple X little mix face wash
Washable make up pads (for cleansing rather than make up, she has hormonal skin already)
Toaster tongs
Wireless headphones
A magazine

I know she isn’t into reading, but would books about gymnastics appeal? I remember one called The Perfect Ten which was a kids novel about a gymnast girl. Not sure if it would be age appropriate but I’m sure there are others as well.

Other than that maybe a slime making kit or jewellery making set?

Some fab ideas here. I was really struggling but think I'll get her to write to FC with two or three things really wants or generic ie art supplies and then make the rest surprises so that if it is the last year it will seem more magical that she got things she is really into.
I was struggling because a couple of mums I've spoken to are getting technology related things which DD isn't into . One of her friends is getting an Ipad even though she has a perfectly good laptop but mum doesn't know what to get her.
Englishrose, I like the shower radio idea and think she will. Just found some copic pens on wish, long lead time but if I order soon then would be here in time. Never used wish before though so don't know if reliable etc?
Wreckedtangle, she loves RI and more leggings are on the list.

What sort of body sprays are around that aren’t going to gas the whole house? I remember dd2 gassing us all with impulse.

Nothing, they all stink! Grin

Dd would love iPads/phones/laptops etc but she's 10 and therefore will not be getting any. I just don't see the need at that age, she's got a kindle but she's an avid reader.

Mine really wants a tie dye kit and some plain joggers & a hoodie that she can tie dye (they did t shirts at a party and she lives in hers)
Shower radio is a great idea.
It’s a tricky age, socks and pants are always a given crop tops too maybe this year

My DD was same age last year and sounds very similar I got her

Echo dot which was a bit of a gamble as she wasn't too fussed about music at the time but she loves asking alexa questions and to tell her jokes and now does listen to music too.
Sprocket printer to print photos from her phone
Scrap book she could decorate and put all her photos of her and her friends in
Popcorn maker
Cushions and a light up mirror for her room
Box with lots of bits of baking equipment in and a recipe book

Brush pens and a calligraphy pen as well if she's into arty things, DD loved those. I'm struggling this year though all she has asked for is clothes.

Dd's main gift when she turned 11 was a sonos speaker for her room (rest of house on sonos).

Mine is a book worm which makes life easier.

Nice pens, notebooks etc. Cross stitch kits. Does she like other STEM stuff if she's into slime? Some great kits out there for making other stuff, ds2 got a great one last year which included slime but also stuff for things like spherification which was fun. Snap circuits and coding related things have been hits too as was a 3d printing pen, she got it younger than 11 but she'll be 12 this Christmas and it still gets used plenty.

I was looking at a shower speaker but have 99% decided to get a waterproof portable speaker instead, so that it can be taken out and about as well as into the shower.

The Wonderboom 2 has good reviews and is down to its lowest price ever on Amazon at the moment (Black only... Other colours still more expensive)

On the Oodie idea, has anyone found a good substitute or are you getting genuine Oodie ones? Gulping a bit at £54, after the discount

Dd1 will be 9.5, she is getting watercolour pens and a tie dye set, which might suit your dd. We also looked at a sewing machine for her.
