Help! I need a Pipsie interactive horse!

Can anyone help me track down one of these please? Santa got it for my daughter a few years ago from Argos but they don’t seem to sell it anymore. Sadly Pipsie has a broken leg and my daughter has written a very heartfelt letter to Santa to ask if he can please please fix her? DD is 8 so I’d love to be able to keep the magic alive and have Santa magically fix Pipsie for her but I can’t find one anywhere. DH did find one on FB marketplace but hasn’t had a reply from the seller so I assume that one is no longer available. If anyone can track one down, I’d be most grateful Smile

Here’s one in Ireland,

You might be able to work out something with Parcel Motel for delivery,

Have you tried the usuals like gumtree, eBay and such ?

When did you get it? It was subject to a safety recall in July 2016.

Thanks. DH searched all over fb / eBay / selling sites etc. Not sure how long we’ve had it but possibly not as long ago as 2016. I think the safety recall was to do with the magnets in the apples that came with it though, not the horse itself.

It was. But it might explain why it's hard to find, if it wasn't made after that date.

That’s true. But Santa can fix anything, right? Confused maybe I need to think of a plausible reason why poor old Pipsie can’t be fixed, even by Santa Sad

You've got time to keep looking. Fingers crossed!

Are any car boot sales running near you? That's worth a shot (I don't know if they are due to Covid).

Do you have a teddy/toy hospital near you? They may be abke to fix the one you have?

That one in Nottingham is the one DH found online. Would be ideal as it’s not a million miles from where we are. Unfortunately the seller hasn’t responded despite sending a couple of messages Sad

Never thought about a toy hospital - not sure if there is anywhere like that nearby so will investigate that option.

Thanks all Flowers

I don’t know about toy hospitals, but in our town we have a share and repair shop and repair ‘cafes’ run by clever volunteers. They are great. Maybe you have something similar close to you. shareandrepair.org.uk/repair-cafes/

Excellent suggestion about the repair café - and a quick google search tells me we have such a thing in my town but sadly all their events for 2020 have been cancelled due to Covid.

There’s a good independent toy shop in town so I might ask in there if they know of anywhere that might be able to help.

@Wenchelda if you'd still like one I have one I was about to list on Marketplace for £10+ postage - pm me if you'd like it 😁
