Farms?

My little boy has seen a plastic farm toy in Smyths, the figures are about as big as the Schleich figures and he also likes the farm houses and different tractors. Does anyone have any recommendations of a bit too expensive farm? I’d like to be able to go in smyths and buy him a different schleich animal every week so he can add to it gradually. But the whole farm doesn’t need to be schleich and it must have some farm buildings and a tractor too? Thanks!

And ideally it could do with having a base, so it can be moved from room to room!

How old is he? Are you after something very detailed like Schliech or would something more stylised like playmobil? My DC has playmobil and as their interests changed we could buy different sets to move from farm to hospital to shops etc with the same characters.
If you want the detail then stick with Schliech; cheaper brands will get tatty very quickly.

He had the playmobil one a few years ago, but it was a bit flimsy and got broken/bits got lost.
I’ve seen an Eighornn one and that’s as close as I can find but I wanted something a bit bigger?

Wow! Our play mobile went through 5DC over 12 years and on to other children with every cow's horn and fence panel intact!

We have the Melissa and doug wooden farm with our schleich animals. I need to buy more fences for it really though but I rate it
