We have a big wardrobe that we hide the presents in. Once they're wrapped each person's presents go in a bag so I can easily see who's is who's. On Christmas Eve they get out under the tree.

Big walk in wardrobe in my room with a chair infront is the hiding place. I tend to make sure I'm all done and wrapped (and in santa sacks) before they break up from school. Then just carry them downstairs when my children FINALLY go to sleep on christmas eve

When dd was old enough to be able to find things but not yet old enough to resist the temptation to go looking, I used to put them in the loft and bring them down to wrap on Christmas Eve, once she was asleep.

Before that, when she was a baby and toddler, they went on top of the wardrobe.

Again, you could have included this with your questions about Elves and Dresses. Hmm

Just like you could have scrolled on by, presumably? Hmm

I wrap them and put them in those big bags. I have a big walk in store cupboard though that I can lock so it's easy enough.

Under our ottoman bed

In our empty holiday suitcases that live on top of the wardrobes in the bedroom.

Nice and easy to just carry downstairs once DD is sleeping to pop the presents under the tree

DH hides mine on top of the wardrobe in the spare room as I can't reach them!
I hide his in a drawer in the office as he'd never even look for them!

I suspect, while DD is small, they'll be tucked away in my dressing room and as they/she gets bigger either in our garage or PIL's house

We only have to hide the stocking gifts and one gift from Father Christmas. The rest are from friends & family so don't need hidden.

Well put it this way, rookie mistakes, all presents in loft, retrieved midnight on Xmas eve, lots of rustling, loud whispers... Children disturbed!!

All done in bedroom, then on Xmas eve when dc out, we put them in tree accessible location for later on. So so much better!!

Mine were hidden in the attic by our parents. Our friendly elderly neighbours even hid some larger gifts (bikes/motorised cars etc) for them in their garage, and they loved being part of the surprise apparently, as their grandchildren loved quite far away

I have a cupboard in the hallway and keep everything in non descript boxes. But now I have an ottoman bed so will be using that as kids are getting older, and more nosey.

Cupboard of doom under the stairs, im the only one who ever goes in there

We transfer presents from the loft to the spare room on Christmas eve when the dc are distracted and then bring them down after bedtime.

This year I'm hoping to get a hoverkart - plan is to hide it in dm's garage, pick it up a day or two before Xmas and keep it in the boot of the car.

I dont see any reason why this isn't a pretty normal question to ask on the Christmas board. There's no law about how many thread someone can start.

Last year they went in the garage, but can’t currently get in there! Right now the few bits I’ve got are in a box in my study.
They’ll be wrapped while DD’s are sleeping and put back in the box. On Christmas Eve they get put under the tree once DD’s are asleep

They're kept in loft mainly. I usually have a wrapping spree at some point. On Christmas Eve I get kids out of the way and DH transfers presents to the back of his work van. Once they're asleep it's easy to nip out to get them and put them out.

I hide them in a cupboard, the kids would have to move all the sheets and towels to find them and I'm pretty sure they've never done so! Then DH and I wrap them on Xmas eve.

Cupboard under the stairs. As parcels arrive they’re put in there, then when I wrap each child has a different colour paper and they’re stored in different coloured bags. Presents go under the tree a few days before Christmas or later if wrapping is last minute. Stockings are filled after they go to bed on Christmas Eve.

Our wardrobe. Then DH does it whilst I guard the DC to make sure they don’t wake up

Plastic boxes in the cellar.

They're currently in a big pile still in Amazon boxes in the corner of my room, or on top of the he wardrobe. I'll wrap them and then re-box/black big bag them. Big ones live at my parents house.

I can see me needing to keep everything at my parents from at least next year though. DS is already asking questions (he's 3) and is absolutely not above creating his own deathtrap ladder to climb up and see.

All ours go in the huge built in cupboard in our downstairs spare bedroom. It’s only a tiny room and the bed has to be moved to open the cupboard door so no chance of DD snooping.
We keep them in the car boot until we have chance to wrap a few(while she’s at school) then move them to the cupboard.
Get them out on Christmas Eve once she’s asleep and then set to work building whatever her Santa present is so it’s ready to play with.
