What are you buying your 10/11yo?

I had a flash of inspiration the other night as I waa falling asleep...it would have been a brilliant present for dd2. Except, I was toooo lazy to unlock my phone & note it down & now I have no idea what it was .

So, I'm really hoping one of you might jog my memory or suggest something amazing!

I dont have a child that age myself but a lot of parents on other threads have mentioned things like instax/ instant or digital cameras/ sprocket printer things for mobile phones.

Sorry just re read and saw it says dd2! Any accessories like backpacks, jewellery, makeup and perfume type stuff is good for that tweenager stage (not quite into toys, not yet into more mature stuff)

Last year my daughter (then 10) got a sprocket, switch, make up, clothes and some board games - game of life and cluedo I think.

This year she is getting a new laptop and an Amazon take on the oodie.

My DD will be 10 by Christmas. She keeps mentioning a Polaroid type camera. I have my eye on the Instax one for her. There’s the 9 which is around £65 on Amazon, and the 11 which is around £69. My only concern is the cost of the shots - £7.99 for 10. I’m sure she’ll use that many just trying to get the hang of it!

@neverbreaks if she has a phone get her a sprocket instead. She can print off her own pics then. My dd have both. The Polaroid was sat on shelf for so long as she didn't want to be taking it out ( too bulky) but sprocket has been fab and still in constant use now ( had it for 2 years)
