What stocking fillers are your 6yo boys getting?

I've finished the main present buying but my 6yo's stocking looks flat in comparison to his younger sisters. They have a good few bits like costume jewellery, nail polish etc but I just can't think of how to bulk his out. I have a mystery egg, chocolate coins and some other choccy bits. We can't do bubblebath because of skin issues. Have enough cutlery/toothbrushes/underpants. I used to always fill it out with Matchbox cars but he doesn't play so much with them anymore. He's very curious and loves sciency stuff.

What's going in your boy's stockings?

Bjt younger but for my 5yo I recently got 'a lump of coal' off Etsy (Oreo and marshmallow mashed up I think), a glow wand, chocolate coins, Christmas socks, notepad with Christmas stickers and will also put an orange in the toe. I've not looked at it all together in the stocking yet but hoping all fills it out enough as I can't think of anything else!

Lump of coal sounds great Grin Have you a link for the glow wand? I was actually looking at glow sticks last night thinking he might like them Smile

No plastic tat as far as possible. Edible treats, annual, notepads, pencils, character socks/pants, wooly hat, metal keyring.

What they put on their wish list to Santa since the stocking comes from Santa... One of mine asked for Lego... so I got Lego figures blind bags for the stocking. He’s getting a bigger set but that’s from parents. Santa doesn’t bring expensive Lego sets Wink

duct tape in fun patterns and both my boys like using them, Keyring for their bags - lego or others, sharpie pens, soap - they amaze me how much fun they seem to have with a bar of soap in the bath! tech deck mini skate boards, lights for the spokes on their bike wheels from Halfords, and these tubes of mini bricks (called plus plus), mini torch, mini jigsaw, moon balls, stickers, pencil sharpeners - lots in WH Smiths, American sweets like nerd ropes etc.

Also I saw in Aldi that they are bringing out science kits for kids aged 6 plus in their December specials - I'm in Ireland but they might have them in the UK (they are by GALT)

Loads of fantastic ideas, thanks! Grin

I think the top trumps, joke book and cress head man would definitely be winners. Will keep an eye out in Aldi for the science kit too.

Thank you lovely mumsnetters!!
