Inspired by another thread. Grin DS is 18 months at Christmas and I’m not feeling very inspired. We have some of the big things already like a kitchen, from DD.

20 month old... sharing the janod grocery shop with her older sister and she is getting the GLTC fish and chip shop (gone a bit shop mad lol) she is also getting the Anna animator doll from frozen.

Stocking has talking bing, peppa pig phone, pens and crayons, wooden Drs kit from Lidl (adding peppa pig plasters & a bandage) sheep ty sequin toy, maracas, sylvanian families bear set, hair clips and necklace, chocolate coins. Tempted to add some Schleich farm animals too but really she has plenty.

Family getting her fancy dress and a dolls pram.

22mo is getting nothing from us apart from a wooden advent calendar at the beginning of the month. She's getting a dolls' house from her Grandpa and a dolls' pram from her other grandparents. And clothes and books from anyone else who asks. Plus a few wee bits in a stocking.

Ah, well we are getting dd a kitchen so that's not much help to you. Grandparents are getting a Trunki, which might be an idea. I know my dd and she will be forever packing it, petting it etc, even before we ever need to use it for actual travelling!

DD will be 16.5 months at xmas. She has a play tent that I picked up in lidl for £12 and a moon and me dolls house. I'll do a box with a big xmas balloon in it (a card factory helium one) and put money in her account. Most children already have lots of toys and we're trying to minimise too much stuff.

Thanks for all the ideas! Sadly we have a lot of these (did we maybe overdo it for DD?!) I think he’d be interested in the kind of toy where you put things into things if you know what I mean.

My son will be 22 months and we’ve got him
Happyland Farm
Happyland Fire Station
Muppet Babies Puzzle
Play doh
Talking Bing
Books
Orchard Game

Plus stocking stuff. He’s an only child so there’s no toys left over from older siblings that he can use.
