Christmas

Present for best friend

Hi all

I need some help deciding what to get my best friend for Xmas please. She is, by all accounts, fantastic.

She's been super supportive and incredibly generous throughout my pregnancy and since LO has been born, without ever being overbearing or needy (unlike almost everybody else Grin).

She's always there to talk to or send a stupid meme or whatever and I'd like to get her something lovely as her gifts are always super thoughtful.

However, she doesn't really have any hobbies. She likes to watch basketball and for her birthday I bought tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters which she loved, but that's about it.

She still lives with her parents so homey gifts won't work either, and I'm on a fairly tight budget (which she's aware of) as I'm still on maternity leave so ideally can't spend more than £30ish - although I'd stretch slightly for the perfect gift.

Any ideas?

Sterling silver jewellery is my usual go to for close friends...

INKA do beautiful bracelets well within your budget and there are lots to choose from, all Sterling Silver. Etsy also do beautiful handmade jewellery.

A meal out for you both? I'd go for afternoon tea somewhere, but anywhere she likes would make a nice gift imo.

My budget is the same...
I got one friend a nice skincare item and the other a lovely handbag (tk maxx so could get a better item for the budget)
Another option is jewellery (pilgrim is nice and around that price)

I've bought mine a Mancester Drinks Co bottle of Blood Orange Gin. It is sparkly. We hate tacky things so it will make her laugh. I had this in our local pub and it is delicious.

I would second the afternoon tea. My son is buying me one of those Salt Lamps. She might like that is her bedroom. I have my daughters at the moment and it is a lovely glow.

Or a massage if she likes that sort of thing. I know some people don't but I love it if I get a voucher.
