Any other ideas that have been a winner at that age?

Thanks! I missed socks from my list. Magnifying glass is a good one.

Thanks

I got my little boy a cutlery set with his favourite characters on at that age. He is now nearly 4 and loves his cutlery. There will be a set in this years stocking to. X

Ours liked crackle bath - can get it on amazon. Packets of bath stuff that crackles like crazy as you pour it in. Prob not good if have sensitive skin though. Sticker book or colouring book with some washable felt tips? The crayola magic pens and book sets are quite good. Search and find books are good fun too. Can get easier ones for youngest - mr men one is quite good.

Couple of things to add - DS4 has a visual impairement and mega sensitive skin, so bath stuff etc is off the cards as is difficult search to find.

Loads of ideas added already though thanks

I was going to buy some wooden train stuff for 2yo DS' main present so I was going to put a train in the stocking.

Satsuma in the bottom of the stocking!

A Christmas bath rubber duck?

Lush sell something called Play, it's like colourful play dough, and it can be used to make bubbles or as soap etc in the bath.

What about a Rubik's Twist? I think they'd be good over a wide age range.

Bubbles.
A slinky.
Hat/scarf/gloves.
Small box of chocolate type breakfast cereal, that isn't normally allowed!
Chocolate coins.
Stickers.
Jigsaw.
Character flannel, maybe one of those that is tiny but grows to full size when it is wet.
A glass/mug/egg cup - something they can use for Christmas breakfast.
