Suggestions for presents for difficult to buy for brother

My brother is very difficult to buy for! He is nearly 50, never married and no children. He lives alone in London, not local to me, and seems to spend most of his time working.

I know he reads but I don't know which books he already has. He watches movies on his laptop but again I'm not sure which would be suitable.

Normally I wouldn't buy anything, I don't buy for my other siblings, but he is very generous at this time of year and always gives me money for my family (£500 this year). So I would like to treat him.

I paid for a hotel for him to visit recently but I would like to get him a small thoughtful gift to show how much we appreciate his support, though it is in no way expected. I have just finished university and won't start my new job until January or February so I trying not to spend too much.

Thank you.

My brother just wants a framed picture of the kids and us - might he appreciate that? Or a picture of your dc and him? Assuming you have dc...

Tie clip?cufflinks? Pen? Tommy pink or tw Lewin shirt. Wallet. You could do his own stocking.

What about a subscription to Private Eye, LRB (London Review of Books) or Spectator?

Maybe something like this with a picture of my DC?

Thank you for the suggestions.

What about an album from your childhood or a classic on vinyl?
