So we're nearly there now, I'm counting down on one hand the number of sleeps!

Still time to post info on Christmas bargains but I'd also love to hear how the gifts you got went down on the big day and also share notes on sale finds

HAPPY CHRISTMAS,!!!

Merry Christmas!

Today, when I checked my bank account, was the first day in a long while where I have no pending transactions and the balance hasn't gone down!

It's the home stretch, my busiest for work until the 24th but apart from that everything is bought wrapped and organised.

Last night my mum came over to help me transport the Santa presents to her house (where we will be for Christmas) and I have quite a nice pile of bargains thanks to this thread....... I can't actually remember what most of them are.... so I'm excited to see what I've been buying over the last couple of months!

Thanks to all for sharing great finds and ideas WineThanksStar

There's 50% off. Lot of food gifts at Argos with a code which is on the website. It's quite hard to find everything it applies to though.

I am desperately seeking a fingerling which has been requested by DD as her Father Christmas present. I haven’t a hope in hell have I?

Debenhams have despatched my UD Naked palate so as long as it doesn’t arrive smashed I’m winning (please don’t arrive smashed).

Going into down with the kids tomorrow as a birthday treat so will pick up the last couple of token gifts they want to choose and then finito.

I am massively twitching on some playmobil for ds. He'd love it so much, but I don't know whether this is just The Twitch talking...

Thanks again Reastie for all the threads - great to see we made it to 20 on the 20th!

For anybody needing last minute presents I love the Sue shoppers on the miatui.com website (sorry on phone so can't do full link).

They are a fiver each or 3 for £12. They're fab because they are like reusable shopping bags but they're more than that - they have two sections and a zipped dividing pocket as well, so if you want a light bag to pop out with you can put stuff in it securely unlike similar tote bags. They're great on holiday and fold up really small. I have several that get well used and have given as presents to several people, they have always been well received.

They also now do other folding bags and rucksacks, their handbags have won loads of awards including one of he parenting magazine's best changing bag two or three times, and nice organiser make up and sponge bags.

If you do want the shopper bags, it's code SUE12 for 3 at £12 and I think that there is also a code for 15% off - think it is JJ15 but check on their Facebook page.

Can't link to their referral page but will put it on the referral thread if I can when I'm off my (currently very temperamental!) phone Grin

albus is there anything you already have- Christmas dvds/ books etc?
Or anything you can make eg reindeer food?
Or something edible?

At 14 months I’d chuck in a book for bed time and some oats and a carrot ready for Rudolph.

My littlys (who are now huge) loved throwing porridge oats on the lawn.

bunbunny · 20/12/2017 09:17

albus how about a DVD of something Christmassy and gentle like The Snowman (most big supermarkets will have them), a Christmassy story book, a treat to eat with the DVD (would say popcorn but is he a bit young for that?) and a little winterty or Christmassy cuddly toy - there should be plenty in supermarkets still - elves, snowmen, reindeer, polar bear etc. Maybe a decoration to put on the tree.

If anyone's shopping for next year or for a last minute stocking filler Rory's story cubes are only £4 on amazon at the mo

I'm still wanting a few bits and bobs, but nothing majorly pressing. I'm about to do my wrapping before starting work.

I could do with a few tins of nice biscuits for family. Under ten pounds. Is marks and Spencer my best bet?

Oh bloody hell.
Totally just twitched the story cubes.

Also rather than faff in town tomorrow had a look on Argos.

Got the Chad Valley baby wet and drink doll and a set of Chad Vally baby doll clothes for £15.00

And also This which a thought was good value . It’s a nice nail set for little girls and I like the Chad Value range.
