Which is kind of annoying as I thought it was looking lovely. But now my Evil Christmas Twitch is telling me Christmas would be so much better with a curtain of lights going up the stairs. Somebody slap me Xmas Angry

Ahahaha!

The stairs look awful. The windows are nice, tho.

I bought those for my sun room, it was Christmas over kill. I returned it. Look OK lit up at night but in the cold light of day, not so much.

Personally I think lights should accentuate something, so they need to be half hidden, twinkling from behind something.
I don't like them as a feature by themselves. In the daytime you'd just see a lot of cable.
Show us what your hallway is like now. I bet it's lovely.

Ha well it transpires that I can't find the lights curtain I thought I had... so I was considering going out to buy one, but it looks cold out there Grin

This is the entrance hall stairs currently - it's close up because I didn't realise how many photos I have on display until I tried to take a pic without any of them in...

That is classier, in the daytime you will feel like a dolphin caught in a plastic net with the other one.

I have bannister envy! Currently short term renting an upstairs flat so no stairs. The house we just sold had the most beautiful huge hallway and stairs with wooden bannister, I loved 'dressing' it at Christmas! The house we're buying in January has an enclosed staircase! Didn't even think about my purpose bought Christmas staircase garland (currently in storage!6. It'll have to have a new purpose next Christmas!

Oh gad! All those lights! It's like the modern equivalent of too much tinsel. Horrible.

Your's is far nicer, and I'm not just saying that because mine's very similar to yours. 😉😁

I once had a set of curtain lights that were the exact length to go around my living room in my old flat. They looked absolutely amazing and I miss it so much.
Ah maybe next year.

I have zero taste when it comes to Christmas.

The hall lights look amazing. More is more IMO Grin

As long as they're warm white I don't think it's possible to have too many lights at Christmas!

That looks much more tasteful than a net of lights.Less is more as they say.
