Truly multicoloured outdoor Christmas lights?

When we were kids, my Mum and Dad had a lovely string of large coloured lights, that they would hang along the "eaves" of their porch, which extended across the front of the house.

The key thing for me was the colours - they were red, yellow, green, blue and a purply-pink, in a repeating pattern. I loved those lights, especially when we drove home on Christmas Eve after visiting lots of relatives.

I really want a similar set of outdoor lights, but all the multicoloured ones are just red, yellow, green and blue. Nothing wrong with this, but to me, having a purply-pink one in the sequence would remind me of childhood Christmases, and I would be so thrilled with them.

Has anyone seen any like this anywhere? I just cannot find them. Or is there a company that will make them up to your specification? I would be happy to pay a little more as would keep them forever. Thanks.

I think someone once mentioned paperchase to do with actual multi coloured lights. Try them

Thanks, will have a look.

If you find any please update!
I'm lights obsessed at the moment. Mine are irritating because the red ones should be pink and the blue ones purple! Glass paint doesn't help at all by the way

Okay, will let you know if I find any!

Try b&q or Wilco's

I managed to find fairy lights for my tree with the pink in last year but haven't seen any outdoor lights that are the traditional colours.

But I do have a set of the colour changing berry lights like the ones grumpy linked to got mine from Wilkos £10 for a set of 100 which are suitable for outdoors.

They colour change through all shades of the colours i.e. Blue, pale blue purple, turquoise, green,, aqua, dark pink, light pink, red, orange, peach, yellow pale yellow, etc.

I have them indoors, i love them as they are so mesmerising to watch.

Thank you for the suggestions, but I want to be able to see all the colours at the same time, in a static display. Fussy, I know!

Just had a quick search and it doesn't seem that the newer ones offer pink for outdoor lights as they are mainly leds!

However I've found some vintage style lights for outdoors on eBay that include pink!
I can't link on iPad but if you search "set 20 vintage premier Christmas tree outdoor fairy lights" or the seller "dickerpot1".
They are new and the seller has a couple of sets available.

I think this might be the kind of thing you are looking for 😀
