Neither they look awful!

Helpful, thanks molifly. I'm working long shifts almost constantly between now and christmas so my DC will have to put up with 'awful' this year I'm afraid!

I agree with the above, they're very disappointing.

Can you not get some bits from Amazon delivered? they have some good little bits which probably wouldn't be much more than the cost of that stocking and be more thoughtful.

Failing that go for Adult ladies.

From having a look, I'd say the adult one, just because of the glitter tattoos and pretend jewellery in the teenage one.

Hi OP, I think they're great, partly because I live abroad so they have great English things for DD and partly because it is, some of it a bit 'tatty' but the children love that IMO.

Last year I got DD (8 at the time) a girls 8 year old stocking, it was great but too young really, and too girly for her.

This year I have ordered and received boys 14 plus (she is now 9) and would say it is absolutely perfect for her.

So... for your 17 year old I would definitely get the female adult. As 14 plus is suitable for my DD who is 9!

They are good though, loads of bits and it does work out cheaper! (Well, maybe not with my postage)

I also supplement with a few things, satsuma, chocolate and a nail varnish or somrthing I know she wants.

P.S They are not awful at all! They are exactly what stockings should be.

From me and DH, DD has plenty of 'classy' 'good taste' stuff, they are a bit of fun! I love them personally.

I think it's really nice you are getting these when you don't have time to browse for and order lots of little bits. Hope you get some time off over crimbo!

Yes, ordering off Amazon and waiting for delivery is a full time job.
It's been doing my head in, orders arrive either a day early or a day late or on time.
You have to be in or... nightmare situation. So if OP is on shifts, no, she can't order off Amazon. It would be far easier just to go to a shop (which isn't always possible)

Actually, taking back whatbi said above, I can see how these would be ideal if you live overseas and want an instant collection of bits and bobs.

Thanks so much for the advice everyone, and molifly - I'm very sorry for snapping at you. Snowmageddon has scuppered most of my deliveries and I'm panicking a bit as thought I was being clever ordering stuff to arrive yesterday and today when I'm off, it hasn't gone to plan! I love doing stockings for my two, but just haven't got the time this year to source thoughtful items...sad feels!

DanTDM will definitely go for the adult one then, thanks for the heads up.

AdamBarlowsQuiff, thank you :) I'm working Christmas day, Boxing day and day after but then have a lovely 6 days off and can't wait :)

Merry Christmas everyone
