Lego Elves plea - Purple Dragon!

Dd has collected Lego Elves since they were first released and has nearly all the sets. We missed out on buying the Dragon Sanctuary before it became a retired set. Dd desperately wants the purple dragon for Christmas. I have been scouring Amazon, EBay, gumtree etc but this set that was only £29.99 originally is going for stupid money.

Total long shot but I wondered if anyone had the dragon they would be willing to sell? It's the dragon she wants to play with her others not fussed on the sanctuary building. TIA

The tiny baby dragon or the purple dragon you build?

Nearlyadoctor Wed 06-Dec-17 18:23:04

The purple dragon you build.

Do you know the number of the set?

PineappleScrunchie Thu 07-Dec-17 11:09:24

Is it this one? Try ordering it from, it looks like they will deliver it to UK and it’s only a bit more expensive than £30. You can set the website to English to make it easier to order.

Actually it can’t be that one as it’s still £25 on

Nearlyadoctor Thu 07-Dec-17 11:32:05

No it's 41178 thanks for trying.

I bought dd that set last Xmas. There is a chance it is still unopened in her wardrobe.

If it has been opened then I'm unlikely to be able to find all the pieces but if it's one of the unopened sets then I'm happy to sell it to you for the £30 plus whatever it costs to post. Will be home around 4 so I shall have a look then.

I hope it's there now and I haven't raised your hopes for nothing!

Oreo that would be absolutely amazing if you do have it. I cannot tell you how thrilled she would be on Christmas Day. Fingers crossed this end.

Oreocrumbs Thu 07-Dec-17 16:08:44

Ta Da!!

Unopened brand new condition. I'm on the app so can't pm at the minute but tonight when I'm settled I'll go on desk top and we can make arrangements!

Thread update : Lego set from Oreocrumbs has arrived today beautifully packaged.
It was an amazingly kind thing to do when many others these days would have seen the thread and then posted their set for sale on eBay.

There are some really lovely people on mumsnet flowers

And because of them I will have an ecstatic 10 yr old daughter on Christmas Day..

This thread gave me hope! I am in the same exact situation with my 8 year old daughter. This is going to be a tough Christmas... My daughter wants Santa to bring her Great Grandma back... and 2 lego sets. This one has been a challenge, and hoping maybe someone else will see this thread and might have this dragon... new or used... she doesn't need the Sanctuary if not available. Thanks everyone... fingers crossed!
