Any recommendations for audio books for a 4-5 year old boy? My son loves listening to his sister's Roald Dahl cd's and also loves the faraway tree. Nothing with songs as they are for when he goes to bed!

My DDs love the faraway tree and Roald Dahl too but their favourites are the Jeremy Strong audiobooks - particularly the 'My Brother's Famous Bottom...' series, the Indoor Pirates and the Hundred Mile An Hour Dog series. They would be good for boys too - we have them all through audible but I'm sure you can get the CDs too.

They also like the Agatha Parrot audiobooks by Kjartan Poskitt which are really funny.

There's a whole series of cds "stories for ? Year olds". We've had several and they've all been enjoyed. Also the "Just So" stories.

David Williams has a set out. Not sure they'd be a bit to old for him. But something they could both enjoy, esp if he likes the road Daryl ones

Amazon got lots of audio books for kids. You can see descriptions and reviews below to choose which one your dc might love to listen to.
