Hi,
I got myself a loud rainbow tree but now need to decorate it. This is proving harder than I had considered 😂😝 has anyone seen any brightly coloured decorations anywhere? Need to be in all the colours of the rainbow as I'm aiming to colour co ordinate.
Thanks

Could you link to the tree to see what it's like?

Is it that mad stripy one? I love it! OMG you're going to literally put red ones on the red bit and blue ones on the blue bit? I admire your commitment!

I must admit I'd probably just put white, or silver or something. But in for a penny...

Yep aiming to match the colours. Funnily enough there doesn't seem to be many bright orange or blue decorations around though lol. I bought a clear decoration today that works well on the lighter colours.

It needs to flash.

We're going to need pics.

Good Lord! It's like a giant feather duster.

'feather duster' just made me laugh out loud.

Would love to see the finished tree.

Love it! Could you get some clear baubles and paint/coat with coloured glitter?

snowplop · 30/11/2017 22:05

I LOVE it OP! Please post pics when it's up.
Saw some orange baubles in John Lewis today m.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-tales-of-the-maharaja-shiny-baubles-set-of-6-orange/p3230158 their 'Maharaja' themed range has some brightly coloured decs. Bit pricey tho.

That's fucking amazing! We aren't having a tree (tiny house, toddler and pet rodents, none of which make it a good idea this year!) but if I did that would be my dream tree!

Oh...and I bought some undecorated ceramic baubles from Aldi to do with the kids. I'm planning on using Sharpies, glitter, acrylic paint. That could be an option maybe...

Ooh what about those clear hollow baubles? Fill them with coloured pompoms, glitter in the right colours?

Oh my word, I love it!! I'm slightly relieved it says out of stock or I would of ordered one & DH would be having kittens!!

I think either clear or plain silver baubles OP. IMO if you try to match colours but they're not the exact same shade it would spoil it. Tbh if it looks as full as it does in the pic I don't think it even needs baubles

Oh my god, that tree is something else! So much fun, agree that it looks like a feather duster but in the best possible way Grin
No idea how you could decorate it but it's going to make our real, green, traditional tree look very boring in comparison! Good luck, please come back and share pics of it complete? Smile

Oh wow ! That’s amazing ! I found baubles in every colour of the rainbow on eBay if that’s any use ? I ordered loads and loads also from Christmastime , which I think get shipped from Lincolnshire . The small ones are 40mm , and they do them in all kinds of shapes and sizes and they’re not that expensive .

Years ago I bought plain coloured baubles from B&q to do a rainbow theme. You are right though orange is tricky (and yellow!) but I guess yellow = gold and orange = copper which is the “in” colour at the moment

Wow, it's ridiculously cheery, you could never look at that and be sad! Great tree OP.
I'll stick with going to collect one from the farm but I love how different and just plain bonkers your one is Grin

That tree makes me think of unicorns and Rainbow Brite! I bet there's a few unicorn decs around. Otherwise, could you buy some toys and hang them on the tree?
