I have 6 women who I have worked with on and off tho year and I want to give them a little gift at a thank you dinner I am organising for them on 23/12. I have 6 bottles of m&s prosecco and want 6 boxes of chops to go with but not sure if small and posh or larger and less so..... what's your opinion. I want to spend approx £6/8 if that's doable?

I saw a Waitrose promotion on tomorrow but we are 45 mins drive from nearest one so that's no good - does anyone know any good offers?

Can you not get Waitrose to deliver them to you?
Sorry, don't know how much they charge for delivery.

Perhaps I meant Ocado. Are they connected to Waitrose?

You'll get some nice Hotel Chocolat ones for £6/£8 and if you are buying six, you get them cheaper if you're buying more than three. I like the festive ones.

Lots of boxed chocolates are half price at Tesco now. Green and Blacks are nice ones smile

I got a nice box in Aldi this week. They are their version of the hotel chocolate desserts chocolates. I think they we're about £5/6.

M and S have some nice fancy chocolates this year in that price range

Sainsburys do some nice Belgian chocolates of their own brand around that price, pretty packaging too. fsmile

Got Hotel Chocolat mellow for DP's birthday, bloody disgusting, like biting into solid margerine.

Thanks for all the brilliant suggestions. I think I'll zip round the supermarkets as it's a long way to a HC - if none appeal I'll get HC on line but avoid the mallow! Thanks so much. I really lack confidence with stuff like this (don't shop much and doubt my taste!) and really do appreciate your advice.

Check Waitrose because I think their boxes of chocolates are half price tomorrow.

OP, how about truffles? Can't go wrong with choccy scoffy Monty Bojangles, they're so so moreish.

and if you end up going for HC (bleurg!) there's discount codes floating about in the Christmas Referral thread.

Yep I'd definitely go for one of the smaller hotel chocolat boxes.
