I desperately need ideas. I'm a really awful present buyer, never know what to get anyone except my own dc. My family tell me what they want so I can't get it wrong!
Been seeing a new guy for 2 months, I know he's getting me a Christmas present as he hinted at it. I want to get him something small but absolutely no idea what as I feel I don't know him well enough yet and anyway like I said I'm hopeless at this!
Our relationship is lots of fun, very physical, lots of laughter and teasing, we also run together. His hobbies as far as I know are running and sci-fi, he's also a foodie and coffee snob and seems to have a very particular taste in music.
I'd be so grateful for ideas for creative and not over the top presents!

If he likes coffee, could you look at getting him a coffee subscription for a few months? Or maybe cook him his favourite meal or take him out for dinner at one of his favourite places?

Thanks for replying Smile Coffee is actually his line of work so he gets enough free coffee as it is...and we regularly cook for each other so that wouldn't be acceptable as a present!

I like the idea of a stocking, don't know what on earth I'd fill it with though! I really am bad at this...

Miniatures of his fav drink, chocolates, little things relating to hobbies, nice socks/underwear, toiletries, foodie/cooking bits - most online shops have xmas sections called stocking fillers!
Just watch when you buy the stocking - got my son his first one this year and when it arrived is absolutely huge! Feel cheated that I now need to fill it up Grin

I had been with my DP for about a month before Xmas, and got him tickets to a comedy club in town. Went down well. Not too personal and we got a great night out in the new year too!

What type of music, OP? Maybe we could help you with something related to that? What about a really nice luxury item- what is his fashion style? How about a nice poll shirt? Or a gift related to your hometown? Like those london tube maps related to things in your city

Has he travelled much? Scratch maps are quite fun if so
