We'll be having either cinnamon buns or eggs benedict, the voting is 50/50 at the moment.

Chocolate panettone with apricot jam, a mug of hot chocolate and a glass of fizz. Xmas Grin

We are probably unoriginal but we do brioche, croissant, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc. We’ve always had to have our son at the Cathedral fairly early, but this year we have more time to relax a bit. Our children don’t like large breakfasts, which limits things.

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. Coffee and Champagne.

Every year. It's tradition in this household.

I’ll be having the Jus Roll croissants, cinnamon buns and pain au chocolate!

The usual, ie piece of toast with Bovril/Ready Brek/Cheerios. Maybe some chocolate or the clementines from the stockings.

Need to leave room to stuff ourselves at lunch.

I must be really sensible cos me and the children usually have something healthy like Weetabix first thing (7am-ish). That way I know they've had something filling and fibrous before the chocolate avalanche descends Grin

Can't stomach eggs before lunch. Might get some pastries in for me and ds1 for Boxing Day though Smile

I let the kids eat chocolate for breakfast on Christmas morning Blush Shockchocolate coins or some of their selection pack, bacon sandwiches mid morning, we tend to have Christmas dinner around 2-3pm so don't faff with breakfast much.

I'm staying at the in laws and they have a full English. Don't know how I'll manage so much food!

Same as usual for dh and ds, we don't see any need for special breakfasts.

I really don’t do breakfast so will probably do a nice fruit platter for me, the family will have a selection of mini danishe and croissants, Christmas tree crumpets and mini bagels with cream cheese, salmon or scrambled egg.

We have a few coffees while the kids open their presents then we get ready and I will then put on some canapés and have Buck's Fizz and martini Asti! I also have my DM and Her partner over for this too, we open presents then we all go to the pub for a few hours! Then either go to DM or MIL for the rest of the day.

Croissants and tea (and stocking chocolate for the DC)

Leaves plenty of room for copious amounts of bubbly and lunch Grin

My vote is for eggs benedict and an espresso martini in the hot tub. DS is voting for chicken and chorizo burritos.
Given that we are all adults I’m very relaxed about what time the turkey goes in/lunch is ready so a substantial breakfast I think
