What have you got left to do for Christmas 2017?

Cards wrote out and the ones that needed posting are gone. Handful of gifts left to wrap. Only 6 photo frames to buy. A parcel to pick up from Argos and then the tree to put up. Feeling quite chilled about it this year and it's my 1st as a single parent.

Absolutely every single thing.

Will start on 1st December as usual.

Cards will be written and posted on about the 10th as usual.

Christmas tree and decorations will go up on the 16th.

Will do some online shopping in the first week of December and some shopping in the shops in the second/third week, right up until the 22nd/23rd.

Presents will get wrapped along the way.

Food shopping will be added to my regular online orders for the next few weeks and then I'll go to the shops on the 23rd and 24th to get whatever else we need.

Easy.

I still need to buy dh’s present, some bits for dd (leggings, body shop smellies, stocking fillers), sdd’s stocking fillers, then presents for my parents and gift card for dsis. Dh and I are having a date night out to lakeside the week before Xmas so will do the shopping then.
Still have cards to write, and buy and decorate the tree but that will be done the week before Christmas as well. So far I’m feeling pretty organised.
We have 5 dc and both work full time so I feel like this is pretty good

Not decorated yet.

Not done cards yet (about 10 to close family and friends abroad).

Couple of presents to get.

No wrapping done - doesn't take long, i have fabric bags and swathes of material with Christmas print, same ones that i use every year, close them with ribbon. Super pretty.

We don't have traditional Christmas lunch, so haven't thought about food yet.

I am extremely chilled, as i am every year.

If i dont post them now I'll never post them. Just sat with 5 year old dd and she's wrote out over 40 cards this evening. And her party invites for January. Think the tree may be going up next weekend. It would normally be going up this evening but enjoying a glass of wine instead tonight.

Made my cards but not written yet, made some decorations, started a 'thinking list' of some ideas for activities with the dc and food for the day, booked tickets to see Santa.

Decorations going up on Sunday, I just feel like starting early this year. No presents bought except a few bought over the year for ds2. Ideas formulating for tricky relatives. I feel about as prepared as I normally do in November so I'm not worried yet. Dh has the day off next Friday to go and do the bulk of the shopping. All good!

Everything. Still 4 birthdays between now and Christmas.

Write a few cards. Just 3 for immediate family plus some friends. DH is responsible for his family.

Then food shopping, booked for delivery on Dec 21st, collect a couple of bits they don’t deliver.

1 more present to buy, stepSIL, because DH will mess that one up. He got stepson’s today.

Wrap/box presents. Need to buy a gift box and bow for DD2’s present, which I collected today from the post office.

I think that’s all, other than cooking and eating Grin

So much more than I intended on having to do by this point....

I was desperate to have everything done in time for baby to arrive, now I’ve reached due date and realised I’ve still got most relatives gifts to buy, all to wrap, all cards to write, and that’s just the basics! I have luckily made and iced the Christmas cake...!

Not much now, actually.

I need to collect DH's present and wrap it, book my 23.12 Sainsbury's delivery and do the two trees. Oh, and write a couple more cards. Not much really!
