Can anyone tell me where these silly things are still in stock? Genuine ones, not the fake rip-off ones. Everywhere I've tried so far have sold out.

DS tells me MUST have one, so he's going to ask Santa when he see's him at the Grotto

I got one from Amazon last week - the genuine one too. Sign up for stock alerts from all the stores and if you're quick you can grab one!

I went on Amazon yesterday and they had some available on Prime, coming in stock on 23rd and delivered by 25th.

Definitely sign up to stock alerts!

I went into my local ‘the enterainer’ They had loads in but showed out of stock online. Worth a phone call?

Was going to suggest entertainer instore. Maybe even toysrus instore.

Last week in our local smyths they had loads of a set with 2 monkeys and a climbing frame for £30.

Smyths website says due in stock between 1st and 8th dec so you'd have to just keep checking.

You can get them from Amazon France and postage to the UK is just a few £! I don’t speak/read French but if you use Amazon in the UK, you can easily figure it out.

I followed a tip to check the ToysRUs website early in the mornings (like 5-6am!) - I got the ones I needed doing that. Had to check over several days as seemed to be different colours each day

Some great tips to get my hands on these Thinga-ma-lings! Thanks guys. Although getting up at 5-6am, over the course of several days - whaaaaaat??? That will most definitely be my very last resort!

Tbh I find it mental they are so high in demand. I mean, what exactly do they do? Are they really worth the money and effort? Its a good job I love DS

Smiths toy store had a delivery of the fingerling seesaw sets yesterday, it includes two fingerlings. We managed to get one in the Ipswich store but they were showing online as available in store at most smiths last night!

The Entertainer have them, if you order it online you're guaranteed it for Christmas so don't worry about it! If you go for the ones on Amazon then be careful, a lot of them state that they're real when in fact they're not. I nearly fell into the trap! Good luck finding one hun x

sign up to stock informer i got 2 that way. one within a week as dd decided she needed one for her birthday despite me asking countless times she kept saying a surprise up until 1 week before!

are they worth it, I think they are quite cute and pretty funny. DD has played with it lots, her favourite thing to do is make it fart in her sister's face and hang it off the banister. not too much to spend on a gimmicky toy that is pretty well made. I probably wouldn't pay outfor the play set dd has found plenty of places to hang him up around the house!

When I go to The Entertainer online it says "Stock 2018" so I don't know about ordering in time for Christmas ... perhaps I'm missing something!

Similarly, although the stock informer website says Amazon France has them in stock, the actual pages say "stock is interrupted" i.e. Out of Stock...

Is the internet lying to me?

I can't even find them on Very as Fingerling can't be found in a search!

I've found them here https://www.the-finger-monkey.co.uk/product-page/fingerlings-finger-monkey?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsp-y6cbV1wIV7rtCh0dQggQEAMYASAAEgLxEDDBwE but I've googled the postcode and it seems to be a residential area so I'm not sure how safe it is to buy them from here?

I'm trying to get hold of one too with no success.

Ripja I wouldn't even click that link as anyone who's set up a website cynically to cash in is surely not that legit.

That's what I'm worried about, and all of the ts and cs relate to Nevada! Going to pass on that one..

Luckily I am way past the stage of life of this years Christmas must-have toy but there is a disturbing report on BBC news about fakes with razor blades in them! There are some awful people around. So reiterating the Op's warning about fakes online.

Report
CynophobicSadness · 24/11/2017 12:04

Yeah, I won't be buying from that link rioja, that looks dodgy. The genuine ones are manufactured by WowWee. This is their official Fingerlings website: www.fingerlings.com/

Their approved Amazon seller is selling a single Fingerling for £69.99! And a Fingerling & monkey bars playset is being sold for £149.99! ....I don't think, piss takers Angry I absolutely refuse to pay that.

The genuine ones on Amazon France are also out of stock Sad

I've looked at The Entertainer and asked to be notified when they're back in stock, although as a pp says, some of the listings state that new stock won't be in until 2018.

Argos, Asda & Tesco don't have a 'notify me when back in stock' option, so I've registered with Stock Informer. Thanks for that. I'd never heard of Stock Informer before now.

I'm also going to physically drive around this weekend and visit shops to see if any one has them in store.

I Googled these from curiosity as I didn't know what they were - the top result was a BBC story about a fake one that had been boobytrapped with razor blades (bought through eBay)

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-42094964

I wanted to post this in case anyone has bought one through a non-standard channel - please do check it before it gets anywhere near your children.

(Can't believe how anyone could do such a horrible thing Angry )
