Christmas gifts for 9 year old and 7 year old boys?

I have a few ideas what to get DSs for Christmas but wondering what the latest//coolest must have toys are? Any suggestions?

Free view channel 217, wait for the ad break and sit back with a note pad, seems to be the approach favoured by my nearly 9yo. Sadly we refuse to contemplate anything remote controlled. He wanted Alien Mission/Alien Vision (not sure which it is) on comparing on-line reviews it will be Ghost Hunt with an additional ghost hunting gun, probably even better with two kids. One of us will have to join in the ghost hunting unless a friend is round.

Other stuff he's getting probably not on trend as he is shaping up to be adorably geeky.

Thanks all. DS1 is really into trampolining. Any suggestions of this nature (apart from a trampoline in the garden which we already have!)

Mountain bike and drone are some of the things kids of those ages are crazy about. I have a nephew who loves drones and his mum got one for his birthday but drown broke after a few weeks :( Be sure to get a good one though.

Do you have a trampoline park near you? Maybe a pass for there for a month?
