What dessert are you having on Christmas Day?
(71 Posts)No one in my family likes Christmas pudding except me. Note to self to buy one that is fantastic just for me.
All you non pudding people, what dessert are you having on Christmas Day?
Yule log. I always have yule log. Not many others in my family like it which is good because I can eat more of it
A traditional trifle.
Christmas Pudding. But my mum does a sherry trifle as well. And we will get a Yule Log! Oink Oink!
We are having the spiced plum pavlova from Cook.
"Dessert"
Singular
Ahahahahaha
Yule log or some other kind of chocolate dessert with ice cream we all love our chocolate in this house 👍
Homemade trifle.
We have things like Yule log, mince pies, Xmas cake and Xmas pud early evening with tea and coffee.
Eton Mess probably. Only my DF and DH like Christmas pudding so will be getting a small one for them.
There will be mince pies, brandy butter and cheese and biscuits for anyone who wants that instead.
The DC will probably have chocolate log.
trifle
A yule log, definitely!
At the very least three! If you don’t have multiple puddings, you’re not doing it right
Xmas pudd, something chocolately, and something fruity.
And every type of cream you can think of
Ice cream. Don't like Christmas pudding or trifle.
I shall be having one of the mini Christmas puds I made yesterday, Delia's recipe. I've done 3 for me and 3 for my sister.
Better than any shop bought I promise.
The rest shall have the pavlova I start on Christmas Eve. There will also be chocolate orange bundt cake, trifle, mince pies and whatever else I rustle up.
I can no longer eat Xmas pud so am getting a small one for DH and DB, I am making myself a choc orange trifle and will make DD (who hates chocolate and Xmas pud ) a steamed sponge pud.
The M&S chocolate dome, which you pour hot caramel sauce over to melt.
We speak of it often

Sorry, I meant "desserts".
Lemon cheesecake, probably another cheesecake, sherry trifle (I don't partake but other family members love it) and this year something dairy free. I'm not sure what yet. (suggestions appreciated.)
We have some during the day, then more later. Yum.
No idea!
Last year was tiramisu, year before was a Pannacotta, before that a poach pear with amaretti cream.
*poached
Well there will be a chocolate cake, Christmas pudding, steam pudding and cheese and biscuits.
There are also mince pies and Christmas cake.
Note to self - do not knock the cream out of the fridge this year!
Some sort of chocolatey creation from M&S. After the faff of the main I just like to pull dessert out of the fridge, ready to serve.
Ice cream and chocolate fudge cake
