Hi all - would be very grateful please for some suggestions / inspirations for a new male colleague of mine, who is my Secret Santa recipient this year.

I don’t know him very well (having only worked with him for a couple of months) but here are some facts:

  • Late 30s / early 40s
  • Quite sporty - enjoys swimming and running
  • Loves eating(!) and is constantly nibbling on something and welcomes leftovers from others (has a fabulous metabolism)
  • Environmentally friendly - keen to encourage recycling etc eg brings his own mug to work rather than use paper cups.

Please help as I’m stuck!

What’s the budget?

He sounds quite easy!

Socks - either jokey ones or for sport.
Mug with his name on it or something personalised.
Boots usually have good foodie kits

A mug and chocolate sounds about right from your description.

Someone bought these for dp last year, they were about a tenner on offer during the year, sure you can get them at lots of places.
I'm not a fan of pork scratchings but they were quite nice!

Lovely suggestions - thanks all. I think foodie is a good way to go, and the initial or coffee mug sounds fab!

A Graze voucher for a few boxes to be delivered to work?

Dp got gifted some of the pork scratching suggested upthread. I ate them Grin. Delicious 😋
Have a look at not on the high street, some really quirky food gifts on there.
Boots do things like extra hot sauces in the 3 for 2 selection. Same goes for meat rubs/marinades. Did also see one for cureing your own bacon Confused
Running/swimming stuff may be hard to get something for under £10 unless you go for a tshirt/mug etc with some sort of slogan on. Not sure if buying someone a speedo would be inappropriate GrinWink

What about a wallet ninja - from
Amazon and a hotel chocolate small bag

The Graze suggestion has really piqued my interest - had no idea you could buy vouchers for a number of boxes to be delivered! x
