We have a space crazy ds7. We have given him several factual space books, Lego space shuttle and toy space things. We got him a telescope for his birthday. We got an "adult" one and his dad got into star gazing, too.

If you ever get the chance to take him to the kennedy space center definitely go fir it, absolutely amazing and you meet a real astronaut. It's truly inspirational

Also - my son got the Playmobil space shuttle and launch for his 6th birthday and it was a huge hit. Very nice toy.
