Gaming headset

My 2 ds’s age 9 & 11 would like a gaming headset for Christmas for using with their XBox. My gaming knowledge is non existent so please could someone recommend one. Thanks.

Look at the Turtle Beach ones on amaxon. Decent prices and they've lasted best out if allvthe ones DS has had. Hes 13 and knows what hes talking about and would tell me if they were rubbish

Turtle Beach are good but we only tend to get the fairly basic ones for DS for 2 reasons. One being of you've only spent £15-20 on them it's not too bad when they break as preteen boys tend not to be too gentle with them and the second being if you get the fancy pants noise cancelling ones you will forever find yourself yelling up the stairs at them to stop shouting down the mic to their mates who they're gaming with. We've just downgraded DS to a single headphone set for that reason.

Another vote for Turtle Beach ones. My dp, ds and db all have different ones, think dp's are the xo fours. Only issue is as per a pp, theyre all noise cancelling ones so ds needs to be told to stfu be a bit quiter every ten minutes on occasion.
I think Turtle Beach or Astro would be the way to go
