Christmas

Stuck on 9yo DS. What are your boys asking for?

What are the 8/9/10 year old boys in your life asking for this Christmas?

I usually find my nearly 9yo son so much easier than my 5yo daughter to buy for but I'm drawing a bit of a blank. He has his birthday in a couple of weeks too so I need a few ideas. I'm reluctant to buy more lego as he has loads.

We are thinking of getting him a stunt scooter for Christmas so that would be a main present. And I've already bought him some Hexbug battlebots for his birthday. But I'm also expecting some requests for ideas from the Grandparents. He likes football, basketball and plays the guitar but doesn't need much relating to these hobbies. He saw a Meccano Android thing in a shop recently and added that to his wish list. Any other ideas please?

Ds, 9, has asked for youtuber merchandise, Xbox games, a Nintendo switch, slime kit, drawing stuff, new wimpy kid book, football, Harry potter box set, guitar, tracksuit, anything minecraft, Pokémon stuff, quixels, gaming chair, stunt Scooter,
new football boots (He won't get all of this).

I've also looked at football ground tours, or Merlin passes

My DS loves Pokémon too. But when you say Pokémon and nothing else Zhx3, what do you actually mean? What Pokémon stuff are you buying for them? Most of this stuff goes over my head...he has a whole load of the trading cards, we don't have a computer game console, he might quite like a little pikachu toy or something, but what other stuff is there?

cryptic which youtuber is your DS in to? DS here was into DanTDM which was easy as the stuff is all UK... now its Americans, his current favourite is Jake Paul??? He wants a hoodie but the shipping from the US is ridiculous!
I think this age is so hard to buy for!

8yo DSD strongly dislikes "girl" things and is getting Minecraft, Pokémon movies on DVD, Hexbug skate park type thing, football kit, Star Wars Lego and a kite.

DS almost 9 is getting games for his DS2 (whichever Pokemon one he wants plus Mario maker), a stink bomb making kit, a hype backpack, some Pokemon graphic novels, a subscription to Phoenix comics, and maybe a full subscription for a minecraft coding thing we're using at the moment. Stocking is a Harry Potter wand, pickachu USB, some slime, a rubics cube and a few other bits. He wants a switch, obvs, but sadly knows that's not happening this year!

DS is almost 10. We're getting him football goals, proper ones but they're (relatively) easy to put up & take down. Possibly a stunt scooter as well, if funds permit. He'd like Fifa18 and new headphones. He'll also get the DanTDM dvd, some books and clothes (tracksuit, football boots and hoodie) It's definitely been harder this year to think of things for him, he's conscious of not being "a baby" anymore but at the same time he's not allowed lots of things still that are for older children.

I've a DD. Some of the things she's asked for that would suit a boy or a girl are a mini drone, a watch, a fidget cube, Harry Potter trivial pursuit and a new fancy zebra print pattern seat for her bike.
