'Luxury' secret Santa for SIL?

I'm hoping you wise Christmas Mumsnetters can offer some inspiration.

For Christmas ourselves and DP's family hold a secret Santa (spend up to £10 each) and this year I have drawn DSIL.

I also had DSIL last year and put together a mini pamper hamper with a book, candle, bath stuff and a babysitting voucher which she loved, and this year I'm completely stumped as to what to get!

She has three lovely DC (1, 10 and 12) and quite a high pressured job so has little time to herself and doesn't often treat herself (instead treats her DC or DH). She's often taking the eldest two to football or skating etc...

Are there any 'luxury' (using the term loosely there!) gifts that I could get her?

Luxury fir a tenner I would go with pleather gloves from John lewis. Always look smart.

Gloves or ear muffs?

Primark leather gloves nicely packaged. I’d rather have that than pleather John Lewis one’s....

Molton brown baubles? They are £10 each with 20% off today.

I love all of these ideas! The gloves and earmuffs would be great as she's often stood watching her DCs... and the MB bauble would give her a bit if 'me-time'...

Glen would you recommend a particular scent from MB?

Personally I'd love heated insoles for standing around on the side of cold pitches goes off to add that to my Christmas list

Ann that's such a fab idea!!

Nice hot water bottle / mug / face mask sachet

The rhubarb and rose from MB is lovely if they’re doing that one this year

You could go over to the soap instead of shower gel thread, lots of lovely soap ideas there?

Love the mb bauble suggestion

As she helps you out why not double it if not triple it at least and then you can get her a little more luxury and less perfunctory

KC225 I think you may have misunderstood somewhere.

I like the earmuff/headband suggestion. If you're going along the "standing at the side of pitches" theme, what about a set of those clicky hand warmers?

Or this sort of thing which looks a bit fancier from the natural history museum

2014newme Wed 01-Nov-17 17:07:22

@KC225 that's not how secret santa works!

Someaddedsugar Wed 01-Nov-17 17:15:39

@KC225 apologies - I think I may have confused you - I wanted to get her a little luxury gift as she's always treating her DCs and DH and as it's secret Santa I need a little bit of inspiration smile.

I love the reusable handwarmer - that's a brilliant idea!

These are all such lovely ideas and perfect for DSIL - it's going to be hard to choose one!

Lovely ideas. Can I throw in fluffy socks? These seem to feel like a treat to lots of people I know (and me!). Work well combined with mug, hot choc & book or dvd.

@littlelights I was just thinking that! I'm sure the pound shop or B&M will have things cheap enough that I can do a mixture of a few!

@blogwoman I also love a pair of fluffy socks! I've added those to the list!
