I bought a 25 door wooden drawer thingamybob from The Works and I want to put a bit of chocolate (maybe Lindt) and a little gift in each one.

What kind of small things would you like in yours for inspiration.

How much are you wanting to spend?

RJnomore1 Wed 18-Oct-17 22:46:19

I'd like to find lovely messages from you some days too

Does she have a pandora bracelet?

If so maybe a special charm for the last draw!

You could get the miniature Christmas perfumes and stick a few of them in too?

catlover1987 Wed 18-Oct-17 22:49:23

Maybe a face mask, lip stick, mini candle?

GymBunnieWannabe Wed 18-Oct-17 22:49:50

Ooh she does have a Pandora bracelet. That's a fab idea.

Like the nail varnish and mini alcohol too!

Snailo Wed 18-Oct-17 22:51:57

Does she like baking (biscuit cutters)? Candles? Christmas tree decorations? Posh tea bags?

Promises to do twenty five jobs around the house that I never get chance/can’t be arsed to do but that really need doing.

I’d bloody love that. Stuff the chocolate.

KittyLover91 Wed 18-Oct-17 22:55:40

I second lip balms especially for when it’s colder!

RJnomore1 Wed 18-Oct-17 22:56:20

You can get nice individual tea bags?

RJnomore1 Wed 18-Oct-17 22:56:40

This is a lovely idea btw!

Sign up to birch box you will get an Oct, Nov & Dec box. I love my birch box which delivers miniature beauty products.

If not, go to Asda for their travel bottles and fill with off the shelf products.

Beg, blag and bother beauty counters in Debenhams, John Lewis etc for samples.

I wish I had someone in my life as thoughtful as you although my love has ordered a gin calendar for me this year so I'm happy and he isn't running around during working hours so win win smile

KittyLover91 Wed 18-Oct-17 22:56:58

Depending on the size of the draws you could get some nice little bits from lush?

wobblywonderwoman Wed 18-Oct-17 22:59:15

I was thinking of Teapigs or something which is pricey and treat-ish or one of those boxes of assorted tea bags, then you could mix it up a bit!! Such a nice idea to do an advent calendar, v thoughtful smile

GymBunnieWannabe Wed 18-Oct-17 23:05:32

I'm going to paint it and decoupage it. I'm A craft freak so this is right up my street.

She absolutely adores Lush so that is a definite yes!

The samples idea is great too!

It's out first Christmas together so I really want to make it special.

GymBunnieWannabe Wed 18-Oct-17 23:06:35

Sand yes to tea pigs. She likes the white tea ones they do with the shark on.

Hmm maybe some Christmas spice tea too.

claraschu Wed 18-Oct-17 23:10:11

What a nice thing to do.

KittyLover91 Wed 18-Oct-17 23:11:56

I would be absolutely thrilled knowing someone had but this mum thought and effort into an advent calendar!

I think you’re going to have a lovely Christmas together ☺️☺️

KittyLover91 Wed 18-Oct-17 23:12:40

Someone had put this much thought * 🙄

TheCraicDealer Wed 18-Oct-17 23:16:43

Hotel chocolat do individual teabags, some of them are lush! Means you could get an assortment of three or something and it wouldn’t be too tea-heavy (if there is such a thing!).

Depending on how big the drawers are you could get a nice scented tea light or mini candle and put a note on it like “you light up my life” for ultimate aww factor.

There are websites that you can buy mini-perfume samples from- you can get diptyque ones for £3 each from here.

Such a lovely idea!

teaandtoast Wed 18-Oct-17 23:19:57

A voucher for a day doing whatever she likes while you take on her chores.

MyBrilliantDisguise Wed 18-Oct-17 23:25:22

Don't put teabags anywhere near Lush!

AdaColeman Wed 18-Oct-17 23:26:57

Fancy soap, l'Occitane do some fab fruity ones, also little tubes of hand cream.

Cucumber eye pads, emery boards, eye brow tweezers etc, look in M&S for them, they always have some nice small treat things.

Eye make up remover pads, small bottles of shampoo, Boots have a good range of these.

Tiny torch to go on a key ring.

On the more luxury side, jar of caviar (would need to be in the fridge so put it in just before needed). Salmon caviar won't break the bank.
Individually wrapped marron glace, you would have to buy a box and split the contents.

Another vote for billet-doux. smile
