I spent far too long the other day (not at work 🙄) trying to find some to no joy. I need a dozen as a priority!

So... I've just googled (not like a crazy lady!!! Honest 😂😂) because i thought dd or myself would like a white chocolate orange or 23!!!
I can't see any record of them being sold since 2014 (and even then its only amazon reviews) so maybe xmas 2013 😂😔.

The search continues...

YABU (yes I do know it's not AIBU). The only proper Terry's chocolate orange is the dark chocolate one.

A white chocolate orange shock No no no!! Surely that would just taste nasty!

youarenotkiddingme Wed 11-Oct-17 07:03:04

I want a white one with popping candy 😬

lookingforbaubles Wed 11-Oct-17 07:50:40

yes yes they did a popping candy one!

the till lady at B&M yesterday swears they had the white ones last year

you can get all the types - not sure about white?- in the large bag, i wonder how difficult it would be to make my own orange from them, it could be a pic n mix one!

Didiusfalco Wed 11-Oct-17 12:44:41

I couldn’t find a dark one last year Gin where did you find it? They are the best.

Penguin27 Wed 11-Oct-17 13:05:07

Following with interest, DP really wants one!

Mountsnowdon Wed 11-Oct-17 13:29:24

I've seen the dark ones in Wilkos or Morrisons this morning. I can't remember which one though.

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone Wed 11-Oct-17 13:32:01

pp2017 Wed 11-Oct-17 16:08:04

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo Wed 11-Oct-17 16:17:38

Didiusfalco I saw dark ones in WHSmith this morning

lookingforbaubles Wed 11-Oct-17 17:08:47

DeleteOrDecay Wed 11-Oct-17 17:19:28

Surely that would just taste nasty!

Blasphemy, they are/were amazing!

Me and dp have been looking out for them every since we last saw them a few years back but no joy. No idea why they stopped them, maybe someone should email terry’s.

youarenotkiddingme Wed 11-Oct-17 17:19:48

Yeah a cheap bar of whites chocolate and good fine motor skills and you should manage it!

Hellywelly10 Wed 11-Oct-17 17:33:25

You sicko!!

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo Wed 11-Oct-17 18:07:15

I’ve found a recipe for homemade chocolate orange so I’m going to try it with white chocolate. I’ll let you know if it works!

I can’t decide whether to be cross you’ve reminded me how amazing they were or happy that you’ve led me to this discovery. I suppose I’ll see how they turn out and decide then grin

lookingforbaubles Sat 14-Oct-17 13:58:58

I admire your dedication looking (also didn’t realise you were the OP - I hope you’re doing OK!) hopefully they will agree to start producing them again immediately and send you a free case grin

Chocolatecake12 Sat 14-Oct-17 15:04:28

No white ones but they had the dark ones in tescos for £2

VivaLeBeaver Sat 14-Oct-17 17:30:03

Fake zip code for such situation is 90210. Worked for me in the past.

lookingforbaubles Sat 14-Oct-17 19:31:44

waves to Leslie as you can see i have spent my recovery time doing really useful things on the internet grin

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo Sat 14-Oct-17 20:26:41

At least you haven’t started trawling obscure confectionery websites and ordering slightly out of date white chocolate Twixes yet... blush
