Christmas

What brands are your 14yo DDs lusting over this Christmas?

My DD is very good, we don't have a lot of spare cash and she doesn't ever complain about not having the branded stuff that her classmates get. She is used to making a virtue out of shopping in Primark and Superdrug.
With both a birthday and Christmas coming up, I would like to buy her one or two bits of branded stuff (clothes, stationery etc.) which will make her smile and enjoy having something a little frivolous. I don't want to ask directly in case I get her hopes up too soon. However I have no idea what brands I should be looking at - please can you advise me?
I think Victoria Secret Pink was big a year or two ago - is it still popular, or has it been condemned to eye-rolling and groans like Lush and Smiggle?

My girls are 16 yesterday and almost 13. They aren't really big into brands but they like Vans, Nike and Adidas trainers. They like hoodies and tops from Hollister and Superdry. Apparently Victoria's Secret is still very popular so I'm thinking of buying something there for dd1 for christmas if I can find something cheap enough! Zoella is still popular with the soon to be 13 year old, and they also like makeup revolution from Superdrug. Hope that helps a bit and I hope I'm right! 🎗

My dd is 15 and she and all her mates are still into Converse - she has them on her list this year.
She is not really into labels though - likes some Jack Wills tops and her Kiko makeup - so not sure I am much help

My dds are 12 and 13, they aren't really into brands/labels other than trainers. The older one prefers sporty clothes, adidas hoodies specifically.
I bought them both a couple of quite simple Hollister tshirts a few weeks ago and they both just wear them to sleep in!
The younger one is a stationery fiend, she loves Kikki K at the moment, and also Zoella for cosmetics and bits for her bedroom.

My dd is 15. She's getting a SoulCal hoodie & t shirt. Ds is also 15 and is getting a No Fear hoodie and t shirt. Dd is getting Nike shoes and ds is getting Adidas. They're not too bothered about labels. Most of their clothes are from Primark apart from shoes and more expensive Christmas clothing.

Thank you everyone - lots to start having a look at.
She'll be very happy with anything - I just want to give her a lovely surprise.

My 14 year old dd loves adidas, puma and Nike. Oh and football!!
She has also recently started to love Hollister body spray which is strange as she is a boys lynx girl normally! I got 4 of the body sprays when they were buy two get two free thinking they would also be good for presents. They are a good size and lots to choose from.

My nearly 15 year old niece likes adidas leggings and hoodies, jack wills hoodies and tshirts, jack wills toiletries from boots and Mac make up. She shops a lot in new look - as much as she likes the big brands she also likes getting as much from her money when she goes shopping as she can and relies on her over indulgent aunt for expensive brands

Pretty much the same likes from my dd - adidas trainers (especially the expensive chunky ones from schuh) nike leggings, Hollister, Victoria's Secret pink, mac, urban decay. She loves vouchers too - boots, Superdrug, top shop, new look. Also vouchers for Starbucks, costa etc so she can buy drinks when she goes shopping with friends.

Hollister, Jack Wills, Benefit, Adidas and Nike, Vans for the mid teens. DD has progressed to Marc Jacobs, Micheal Kors etc. Does she have an IPhone. My lot adore designer phone cases and they are a cheaper entry into a designer brand

14yo dd.

She got classic black vans for her recent birthday and they definitely seem to be footwear of choice amongst her friends.

Adidas clothing, but as a pp said, new look still very popular.
In fact, I'd be tempted to get her vouchers for Christmas for new look/jack wills/superdry/Mac make up counter and then have a lovely day out when all the sales are on and she can get more for your money.

All pants in Victoria Secret were £5 today - so I got a few pairs as stocking fillers.
Looked at the Revolutions chocolate bar palettes in Superdrug and I think that is likely to go down well.
The Christmas shopping has begun

Converse or adidas all stars are all the rage with that age group

Boots have some Zoella & Jack Wills stuff in their Christmas range and it'll be on 3 for 2

Depends on your budget. My 13 year old likes all that stuff. You can pick up Jack Wills pretty ball point pens and water bottles at the tills for stocking fillers.
Make up wise, Urban Decay naked palettes are lusted over but are £40 so might blow your budget. (We have naked2).
Also as mentioned vans, superstars and converse are her shoe choice, and she'd be happy with anything that came from Top shop- even their sale T-shirts. Boots have Ted baker make up bags that include a mini body spray, lip balm and cream for about £12. I got her one for her birthday and she loved it and saved her money to buy another one in a different scent.
Superdrug often have Real Techniques make up brush sets on offer at Christmas, and make up revolution sets are popular.

Agree, all the stuff mentioned already. Also Pandora rings - just picked up a couple from the outlet section on their website for Xmas and birthday presents.
