Ds8 has asked for an xbox for Christmas. I don't know which one to go for?

Thank you x

Xbox one as the 360 is no longer made, unless you're buying 2nd hand.

I'd go for the Xbox one. We have both and Microsoft soft are not bringing out any new games for the 360 so he will be restricted to the older games.

Xbox one for reasons above.

I bgot my DS a Xbox360 for Christmas 2 years ago...He had a recon which worked fine as I knew it wouldn't be in use for ever. However now we are at the point where some new stuff is coming out he can't get for 360.

Okay thank you :)

Think I'm going to buy pre owned Xbox one, do you think that will be okay? I feel bad 😭

I would shop around - the pre owned Xbox ones are not that much less than new ones in places like game or cex, plus you get games/accessories and free Xbox live with new so could work out cheaper!

I'd get a preowned Xbox one. Game sell decent quality ones cheap. We bought DS1 & 2 PS3's a few years ago for £50 each and they're still going strong, no need to update yet.

What do his friend have?

360 owners can't play with ONE owners!

Unless he wants to play by himself then 360 is cheap with games

Pre-owned XBox one should be fine. My DS have done this before. I would but from a shop though, rather than private seller.

Preowned is fine, try buy from a place that do warranties when you buy them.

6 months ago bought an xbox 1 with1tb so really good storage, and with fifa was £200 from Smyths

had looked into second hand ones and they wanted £180+

think its worth buying new for the guarantee unless its a real real bargain

@greentulips Xbox one and 360 players can now play together as long as the game is backwards compatible.
