What do you / the recipient think of them? And which model did you get?

I'd like something along those lines but Im not ready to splash out on a fitbit.

I have the UP. I think it's nicer looking than the Fitbit and doesn't get in the way as much as the Fitbit did.

It isn't as good at sleep tracking, but I'm more interested in step count etc anyway.

Also, if you're pushing a buggy you need to put it in your pocket else it won't track anything.

But, it syncs with Map My Run / MFP etc, so it does what I want it to!

I have an up2. It doesn't work, the utter git. Beautiful, though.

I loved my Jawbones! I had an Up, and then an Up3. They were very easy to use and I like the app.

However, I had a lot of problems with the bands breaking/snapping. I have very small wrists and the way the Up3 sat on my wrist meant it put pressure on the band in it's weakest point so kept breaking. Their customer service last year was brilliant and they replaced it for me for free. But it broke again just before christmas, and I have yet to have a response from them despite several emails.

So I went and bought a Misfit Ray instead. Very happy so far :)
