I have:

cheese (why do I always buy cheese at Christmas eh? I have a pack of Wendsleydale to eat with cake) which brings me to...

cake- fruitcake and some ice/marzipanned (small bit)

stollen (Aldi) still in date

mince pies (not in date)

Quality Street

savoury crackers

some deli bits for the Boxing Day Pizzas that didn't blardy well work because the dough sat there stubbornly refusing to rise hmm

Pretty good this year <preen> because I bought much less than last year, Lessons Learned 'n' all that fwink

MrsDilligaf Fri 13-Jan-17 11:31:20

I've still got:
Half a christmas cake
6 mince pies
Quality Street
Bendicks Mint Chocolate
Party Nibbles - 99p from Aldi...I insisted on having them hmm

We've got loads of present chocolate left, MrD is very happy that we had amaretti biscuits and lindt chocolate again...I hate both with a passion!

I cut back for Christmas 2016 and will do so again for Christmas 2017.

RatOnnaStick Fri 13-Jan-17 11:33:11

Half a tub of twiglets that nobody really wants. Nothing else.

HalfaFishFingerAndTwoPeas Fri 13-Jan-17 11:37:08

Chocolate sprouts and my body weight in mixed nuts.

TheWoollybacksWife Fri 13-Jan-17 11:38:12

I have a bag of chocolate coins, half a box of biscuits and a complete 5" Christmas cake with marzipan and icing. I'm on a low carb diet <<wails>>

I had more - crackers, pate, chicken skewers and some other savoury bits and bobs but the DC had a "party food" dinner one night when DH and I were away fgrin

JustPoppingBy Fri 13-Jan-17 11:55:40

Just found 17 chocolate toffee eclairs from a box of Cadbury things that no one will probably eat and
13 champagne truffles from my advent calendar 😁 in the fridge
(I'm not really a chocolate person)
I've have however just finished off the last cheese, crackers and red onion marmalade . Yum 😊

Ginmakesitallok Fri 13-Jan-17 11:56:53

1/4 of a Christmas cake. That's it

73kittycat73 Fri 13-Jan-17 13:04:52

Tin of Celebrations and some Quality Street
Possibly some mini pizzas (Can't remember! lol)

All in the downstairs freezer and cupboard. Have started a diet/lifestyle change so hopefully, out of sight, out of mind! It's worked so far... fgrin

Monkeybunkey Fri 13-Jan-17 13:45:25

Tub each of Celebrations and Heroes
4 boxes of Matchmakers
Box of After Eights
2 Chocolate Oranges
Half a tin of chocolate mint selection
2 tubs of cheese footballs
Box of crackers (to have with cheese)

That's just stuff we bought. We were given various chocolates/sweets as presents as well! I finished the Christmas cake yesterday (that didn't even get opened, so I've eaten the entire thing myself in the last couple of weeks as DP doesn't like it). No wonder I'm not back to my pre-Christmas weight yet!

73kittycat73 Fri 13-Jan-17 18:33:18

Oh yes, also a Lemon Meringue in the downstairs freezer. Must stop coming in here, want cake now! fwink fgrin

Mrsmadevans Fri 13-Jan-17 21:41:03

a clawson stilton jar
a huge panettone
a xmas cake
crackers for cheese
thorntons continentals
black and greens choc bars in a box
box of matchmakers
I have thrown out the stollen and a christmas pud and clotted cream and mince pies and brandy cream all full and unopened from Mr T their mini ones went very dry very quickly . I bought too much just like I always do! Piguana!

73kittycat73 Sat 14-Jan-17 00:48:08

Oh, you just reminded me Mrsmadevans, I have salted peanuts and cashews too.
I hate to say it but we had to chuck a load of stuff too. Manly yule logs (Lol, three were brought!) and cake items. still want cake now

TrustySnail Sat 14-Jan-17 01:04:58

A wedge of Christmas cake (normal - my record for having leftover Christmas cake is July).

The coconut ones out of a tub of Quality Street - no one in my family likes coconut, so they'll probably end up in the bin.

FeelingSmurfy Sat 14-Jan-17 01:27:07

A bag of Christmas pasta, because we only needed one after plans changed, this will get used up soon though

Other than that it's pretty much just boxes and tins of shortbread which we got as presents, and one box of chocolates that was a present

We normally buy far too much, we cut down last year but this year we barely bought anything sweet really and didn't go overboard on savoury stuff. We didn't notice anything missing though, so it's not like we did without. Now we just need to stay controlled in future years

Mrsmadevans Sat 14-Jan-17 23:16:13

when I say we threw it out, the birds could barely get up in the air after eating the stollen and the pannetone was 18 months old yet l tasted it before giving to the boirds and it tasted lovely lol

HandsomeDevil Sat 14-Jan-17 23:20:08

dh and i have just been drunkenly polishing off the dregs of the section box that SIL bought me. there is now only a finger of fudge left and nobody wants it/

there is also a chocolate pizza (WTF?) and a jar of mincemeat in the cupboard

TheGardenOfEdenExists Sat 14-Jan-17 23:33:17

Absolutely bugger all. Anything that was left come the 2nd Jan got binned (opened chocolates, cakes or biscuits), frozen (cheese) or donated (unopened non perishables).

BakeOffBiscuits Sat 14-Jan-17 23:37:30

A huge amount of various cheeses.
Half a chocolate cake
Pickles etc
Slow gin--which I'm working my way through--

We also had a lot of chocolates and biscuits left but dd has taken them back to share with her uni

OhSoggyBiscuit Sun 15-Jan-17 15:09:33

A bag of pretzels, tube of pringles, few mini boxes of cereal. Probably a couple of tubs of chocolate in the garage.

kel12345 Sun 15-Jan-17 15:20:58

Nothing (we can't stand mince pies, Christmas cake or Christmas pudding, so we sent my dad home with it all). The chocolate Yule log didn't last long with me though.

tinydancer88 Sun 15-Jan-17 15:42:39

A sad, lonely chunk of brie sad

pinkieandperkie Sun 15-Jan-17 15:53:17

I've still got the Christmas pudding. We were all too full to eat it after Christmas lunch. They stay in date for ages.

Violetcharlotte Sun 15-Jan-17 15:56:10

Very little-
A few quality street (mainly chocolate pennies)
A box of Baileys truffles
Half a tub of twiglets
A bottle of Baileys

Serin Sun 15-Jan-17 23:16:36

Half a bottle of Lagavulin.
A Pannetonne
Lots of unopened jars of chutney smile
Half a Christmas cake

Polkadot1974 Mon 16-Jan-17 21:50:15

Cake and a bag of those Jacobs cheeselet things. I'm hungry reading about leftover Bendicks mints. Love them
