Mother Christmas can now relax, the stealth and the hushed voices are done and we have been visited by Father Christmas for 2016.

I do love it all, but scared bloody stiff I wld wake DD2. But I think she has got away with another year believing. Phew!

DD1 also loved being my elf. Xxx Happy Christmas all... Have fun delivering yours.

Yes, dd asleep. Everything ready!

I'm totally paranoid that she's going to wake up! 👀

dd3, who is 6, thinks she can tick santa into delivering her presents while she is still awake.

Gonna be a looonggg night here!

Presents under tree, Santa's goodies eaten/ drank but we'll leave stockings until we go to bed (just in case), ho ho ho!

Nope not yet (although there may still be some wrapping to do, tbh) as DD has gone to bed early, but can't sleep Xmas Grin

Nope. Not after the year that DD1 had a bad dream, came down upset and shouted out, with wide eyes "HE'S BEEN!" and we had to usher her back to bed and convince her she was dreaming.

To be fair, the DDs are now 12 and 16 and usually fall asleep much later than I do these days. But are far more reliable at knowing when they aren't allowed to come back downstairs!

Their stockings are hung on their doorknobs so I can 'deliver' them as I go to bed whether they are asleep yet or not!

No, Ds1 is still bouncing around too excited to sleep
And when he finally goes off I've got to rewrap 2 of the babies presents because they've ripped in transit

OopsDearyMe · 24/12/2016 22:11

Lol why is it we do all the work, but the guys get to do the treat
My mince pie and babycham went down a treat, although the salted caramel liqueur was nicer. Next year methinks...

Yes.

Most worried that DD will wake before me and come down to find presents / open presents before I wake, as she sometimes does pad down looking for me, then return upstairs - and I on'y wake as she comes back up.

Considering sleeping on the sofa Xmas Confused

Don't know how I did it but both kids (16 and 12) asleep by 10:30 - (in Europe so an hour ahead) which is unheard of.

Thank for the gift kids.

Stockings done - pressies under the tree.

To those still waiting I hope all your children are asleep very soon.
