Put it out on side to cool after coming out of oven. Found the little shit on the worktop nibbling the top. Now nonchalantly licking his chops.
I feel fatigued with it all ...

Hehe! Has he taken a great chunk of it out or just nibbled it? TBH if it's just a nibble I'd either trim it a bit or just smoosh out the nibbled areas Grin.

Multiple chunks. Knowing the lil shit he's probably licked the rest. He's got a try before he buys mentality.

The only fitting punishment I can think of is that you crumble the remainder of your violated cake on a bird table tomorrow and force your cat to watch the birds feast.

My girlcat once swiped my hand when it had a slice of chocolate cake in it and munched on the cake I was holding.

Cats are wierd little assholes.

Grin at all these cake-eating cats!
I thought mine was the only carb-obsessed cat, he'll turn his nose up at leftover meat, but tries to climb in your mouth if you're eating naan bread, garlic bread or cream crackers Confused

A few milk chocolate coins won't overdose most dogs. Ours (standard dachshund, 12kg) once scoffed quarter of a terry's chocolate orange, that was less than the amount which would have needed treatment fortunately. DD has been incredibly careful ever since.

I have to put baking in the living room to cool and lock the cats out! Smaller things I have to hide in the microwave. Pesky cats.
