Ok so making my first red cabbage in the slow cooker and put in double the amount of onions! It now smells of onions really strongly, tastes disgusting so far! Is there anything I can do to salvage it? Please anyone???

Could you make a second batch with no onions and then mix the two together? You'd have more than you need but at least it would taste right.
