Along with a joint of beef and the pigs in blanket

Lidl had a frozen one from there last year was better than any one I've bought before. I bought from the butchers before but Lidl was just as nice

Waitrose one from Ocado, pre stuffed with charred Brussels sprout stuffing, they better bloody deliver it. 😱

I bought a frozen one back in October. Can't remember which shop. History has taught me that I over-engineer (by faffing/marinating, stuffing, butterbombing etc) any of the taste benefits of spending a fortune so as long as it's free range I get it as soon and as cheap as possible.

Waitrose, frozen crown. Ds is 3 he won't care or just eat pigs in blankets and dp probably wouldn't appreciate the difference if I spent £££££ .

Tesco. Their finest turkey crown. Hosting for first time and keeping it simple by buying everything at Tesco.

Over here Turkeys are wild. It's a local tradition that a father son bonding activity is to shoot a turkey for Christmas, and one for thanksgiving.

Not sure yet. Poss M&S if I can clear space in the fridge later and go in first thing tomorrow. Or Waitrose. Or local farm shop.

There is just DS, DH and I so we could get a chicken!
