Thread 20 - I want a present shitting log

GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 08/12/2016 12:27

Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Mumsnet Christmas appeal info here

Mumsnet discount page is worth a look here

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit and they currently have an offer where you will get a free £5 m&s voucher (I believe).

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Thanks for the new thread! I am a bit stumped for my aunt- an adult Disney lover. Previously I have been getting her all the films on DVD to replace her vhs collection, but I am bored with that now .

Budget around £30- I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi all, just a quick post to say that Coventry Smyths toys had some Hatchimals in stock this morning, in case anyone local is still after one.

So this isn't a groundbreaking deal but as I've mainly pilfered discounts and deals from the thread I'm quite pleased to have something to contribute!

Just been rl shopping for DS (4) and DD (2) stocking fillers in Primark. Minion and Spideman 3 pack socks both went through the checkout 30p cheaper than price tag and minion girls pants went through at £1 instead of £3.50. I'm quite pleased at keeping the bargain hunting going to the bitter end even if they were possibly total flukes

Can anyone advise on what to buy 3 girls aged around 10, budget around £5-10, so something on a 3 for 2 would be good. They are apparently into bubble bath type things.

I'm making gifts for nursery teachers and various female relatives with my dd. Plan was to get soaps from lush but 100g costs around £3.50 each and we need 18! Can anyone recommend either soaps or bath bombs that won't financially cripple me and are okay for sensitive skin. Thanks very much!
