(1000 Posts)
GodReastieMerryGentlemen Thu 08-Dec-16 12:27:52

Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

GodReastieMerryGentlemen Thu 08-Dec-16 12:28:35

As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit and they currently have an offer where you will get a free £5 m&s voucher (I believe).

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Thanks Reastie x

cookiefiend Thu 08-Dec-16 12:37:02

Thanks for the new thread! I am a bit stumped for my aunt- an adult Disney lover. Previously I have been getting her all the films on DVD to replace her vhs collection, but I am bored with that now .

Budget around £30- I would appreciate any suggestions.

QuilliamCakespeare Thu 08-Dec-16 12:42:58

Hello, back again and panicking That I need more for DH! Does anyone know where I could get Exploding Kittens NSFW for less than £20 delivered?

Lost Track of what I need. Probably nothing but I'm here anyway!!

Somerville Thu 08-Dec-16 13:04:59

cookie Have you seen the new Cath Kidston Disney range? I was looking at it in store at the weekend for my vintage-Minnie Mouse loving sister.

MWestie Thu 08-Dec-16 13:09:03

Hi all, just a quick post to say that Coventry Smyths toys had some Hatchimals in stock this morning, in case anyone local is still after one.

Igottastartthinkingbee Thu 08-Dec-16 13:15:10

So this isn't a groundbreaking deal but as I've mainly pilfered discounts and deals from the thread I'm quite pleased to have something to contribute!

Just been rl shopping for DS (4) and DD (2) stocking fillers in Primark. Minion and Spideman 3 pack socks both went through the checkout 30p cheaper than price tag and minion girls pants went through at £1 instead of £3.50. I'm quite pleased at keeping the bargain hunting going to the bitter end even if they were possibly total flukes

GirlWithTheYellowHat Thu 08-Dec-16 13:20:15

Checking in. Decided to get my brothers girlfriend a present and she's into makeup etc. I've bypassed all mention of the Real Techniques brushes but they are recommended? And what's a bargain price?

verytiredmummy1 Thu 08-Dec-16 13:22:43

My poundland just had peppa pig ty beanie babies. They looked nice smile

QuilliamCakespeare Thu 08-Dec-16 13:24:38

Thanks Cookie. I'll see if I can find any reviews as I've not heard of them either. I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy it when it was £14 a while ago!

SixtyDegreesNorth Thu 08-Dec-16 13:30:21

I made it to a title!!! I can die happy.

Yes, I have name changed about 12 times since I posted it.

SymphonyofShadows Thu 08-Dec-16 13:41:44

Thanks for the new thread Reastie. I'm waiting for Soap and Glory tomorrow for me and then I just need teacher gifts. The cheaper the better as I have a few to get.

GodReastieMerryGentlemen Thu 08-Dec-16 13:50:46

Sixty that is hilarious! I laughed when they said the children had to hit the log with a stick to encourage it to poo!!

trixymalixy Thu 08-Dec-16 13:53:46

Can anyone advise on what to buy 3 girls aged around 10, budget around £5-10, so something on a 3 for 2 would be good. They are apparently into bubble bath type things.

imnottoofussed Thu 08-Dec-16 13:54:32

is it christmas yet? I'm done in from all of this shopping.

Bonnylassie Thu 08-Dec-16 13:59:41

I'm making gifts for nursery teachers and various female relatives with my dd. Plan was to get soaps from lush but 100g costs around £3.50 each and we need 18! Can anyone recommend either soaps or bath bombs that won't financially cripple me and are okay for sensitive skin. Thanks very much!
