They don't believe in Santa at this point!
Apart from chocolate, shower gel and pyjamas, what else? I am a bit stumped this year!
.......yes, I know that probably tells me they don't need anything.....but Santa normally brings 6 presents each in the stocking.

I put in hot chocolate powder, mini marshmallows and squirty cream in the dses' stockings (they are 19, 21 and 23) - I wrap the cans of cream, and hide them in the salad drawer of the fridge until Christmas Eve (no way they are looking in there).

I put in a gag gift or two - this year I have Below the Belt deodorant for their gentleman's area, a compass key ring, and a spoof Ladybird book - one on the Zombie Apocalypse, one on Being a Student, and one on Meetings (two of mine are at university, and the eldest is on a post grad management scheme).

Ladybird books here too - Zombie Apocalypse for one and Mindfulness for the other.

Beer/cider/mini JD etc if old enough
Stuff like hairspray, cotton wool, nail varnish remover
knickers and socks
coffee syrups
'posh' tea bags
lip balm
pickled onions, chilli sauce etc
dried mango has gone down well in the past!

ladybird books are more for adults who remember them- teens dont

The very hungover caterpillar is a good book

clary Sat 26-Nov-16 23:23:02

bigredfireenegine there are some mysterious things on yr list - wtf are exploding kittens?

Rolled up magazine - probably Vogue for one and Empire for the other
Disposable camera - seems to have retro appeal for some reason

My two will definitely appreciate the Ladybird books.

I'm planning on doing themed stockings this year

Ds1 (13) is having a hot choc stocking so..
Naice hot chocolate powder- probably whittards
Cream ( be in fridge)

Better than the usual tat that I fill it with, he loves a hot choc!

Ds2 is younger and I haven't worked out theme yet!!!
