My Ds will be 8 weeks on Christmas. I know he will never remember it, but I want to get him something small to acknowledge it. Any suggestions?

My son was 7 weeks old last Christmas and we got him some baubles with his name on and 'first Christmas 2015' on. I'm looking forward to getting them out again next week!

We got him a little Christmas onesie too that he wore for the day

A Christmas teddy with the year stamp on the foot, John Lewis, Harrods, Hamleys and the Disney store do these. In fact the Disney store Mickey is reduced to £7.99 this weekend.

A nice Christmas stocking with his name on it - to use in future year

A 2016 Christmas bailable with his name on it.

A few nice books to read to him during the year and remember he got the for his first xmas. "We are going on a bear hunt" and "The Hungry Caterpillar" both come on board book form and we thought were great first books.

A name plate for him bedroom door or name canvas for his room.

Congratulations on your new arrival.

We got a nice set of hardback books from The Book People four our sons first Xmas. Was about £30 and has been well used since.

Just don't be like me and be completely irrationally disappointed that he didn't give a monkeys!

A bauble and a stocking. We got DS a really nice stocking with his name on so we can fill it every year.
I would fill it with bits for the year ahead, baby toys, books etc. DS got weaning spoons and dummies in his first stocking!

I like the idea of the stocking and bobble with his name on it. With O2 priority I get a £12 discount on the stocking.
I'm in the mind set that as he doesn't know his days from his nights, he won't know or care that it's Christmas Day. Just for the future I'd like to say this is what we got you for your first Christmas
Thanks for all the ideas
