Sorry if stepping on toes, but I haven't noticed a twitch thread this year, so thought I would start one Smile
I've just twitched and bought a pair of heelys for ds(9), a ghostbusters proton pack for ds (4) and a candy grabber for dd (6). Tell me what you have all impulse bought.

I bought a Kevin the carrot yesterday - I don't think either of my kids know who he is!

I saw Kevin the carrot mentioned on here yesterday, I haven't seen the advert but found myself contemplating buying one from eBay! ConfusedBlush

I bought a Lego Stormtrooper figure for ds (5)

He had seen it several times in the shops over the year and I had always said no as it was twenty quid which seemed just too steep. Then I saw it had come down to half price and was selling out everywhere, but I had finished for him.

Someone asked him about what he would like for Christmas the other day and he said a Stormtrooper figure, then he quickly said, "but I don't really want to talk about it, because I might get something different and you should be happy whatever you get."

Reader, I bought it.

I'm going to google kevin the carrot Hmm

Cagliostro · 25/11/2016 13:37

I googled. Oh good lord. :o

I haven't exactly twitched as I'm still choosing presents on behalf of my parents, who give me the money as they don't like choosing themselves. So that's not twitching, right? Right?!?

Oh no actually I admit I was in Primark yesterday getting the usual stocking fillers of character undies/socks, and I twitched on an awesome silver Pikachu t-shirt for DD, and therefore had to get a t-shirt for DS too...

I'll be bankrupt if I'm still twitching then.

(you probably guessed I am a fellow anime fan :o)

Sorry for hijacking OP :)

I kind of fell into thebookpeople Black Friday offer last night, they were books I had been desperate to get the DCs anyway. Apart from one which has a model of the human body with it so that's kind of educational right?

I bought my 2 eldest boys pyjamas. They're fun pyjamas though...and they needed them, well one of them did anyway Grin

I bought myself the NIOD favourites set, discounted from over £100 to £79. Grin

...I also bought myself a new coat Grin

Hopefully I'll stop now Confused

I thought the twitching starts once you are finished? I have twitched on a box of 5 random tshirts from loud clothing for £15 (I picked the size though) and I'm obsessing about Mario stuff I saw in B&M even though DS2 has too much already. Luckily I have to make a special trip as it's not local so I should be able to avoid.

What Mario stuff? Dammit

Most likely Satsuki :o

I twitched! Lego Star Wars PS4 game for ds1
A wooden aeroplane for ds3
A mirror for myself
An amazon dash button (wtf do I need one of them for???)
A letter bunting

Trying to resist fairy lights and a ball pit.

And yes I have "finished" Christmas shopping. Fortunately the dcs birthdays are Dec/Jan/Feb so anything I twitch over can be birthday presents

SymphonyofShadows · 25/11/2016 16:49

mario the store I was in had single large vinyl figures, packs of two medium ones and plush ones too

Palomb · 25/11/2016 16:59

We've finished the big stuff and I'll still be twitching in January as its both their birthdays. This time of years kills us financially 😖

I went into Fortnums today for one box of posh Christmas biscuits.

I had a major foodie twitch, and managed to load up with biscuits, Florentines, chocolates (several kinds) marmalade, coffee and maple-candied nuts. Some will be given as presents. Maybe.

I was all smug feeling as I opened this thread as I haven't twitched and have been strong and was NOT GOING TO TWITCH.

Then you lot start talking about proton packs and pikachu t-shirts.

Curse you!

But, but...I hadn't bought a present from Santa yet so technically it's not a twitch, it's neccessary.

Cagliostro · 25/11/2016 17:38

If I twitched on that fancy food it wouldn't even make it to December Blush :o

We just got a new Hotel Chocolat opening in town and I'm worried for my bank balance and my (already questionable) waistline.

Ooooh Mario. A plush would be good as a present from my mum - DD is getting a Build a Bear voucher as she's wanted a BaB for years, but it would be nice for DS to have a cuddly too. Thanks :)
