What to get for 18 month old girl?

My friend has 2 girls, one aged 4 and the other is 18 months old. No ideas what to get for the younger one for Christmas at all. Asked my friend for ideas and she is at a loss as well, only thing she said was "she likes destroying things" Grin

So any suggestions on what I could get an 18 month old girl who likes destroying things?

Happyland seems pretty indestructible and always popular Smile

I always but a little outfit or pjs along with some sweets for kids until they're old enough to ask you! Primark has some gorgeous onesies in this year! Depends on how much you spend really, a silver/gold baby bangle?

I have an 18mth old girl, who also likes destroying things and I'm at a loss of what to buy. But, we have a Melissa&Doug felt sandwich set which is a huge hit. Shoving felt bacon etc into a pita pocket, then chucking everything about is very popular.

Argos currently have it on sale for £8.99.

Aldi are selling nice wooden toys at present. Although they generally say for over threes. she could try to destroy them under supervision.

We'll be getting our 18 month (at Christmas)-
-Happyland cottage thing

  • Duplo
  • Emily buttons dolly
  • toy buggy

-apron and cookie cutters
  • toot toot stuff (check with your friend toot toot stuff is really annoying but kids love it)
  • jigsaw

-stickers and crayons (again, ask your friend- we need to repaint our chimney breast after a particularly horrific crayon incident)
-Winnie the Pooh teddies (Aldi have them for about about fiver)
Can't remember what else!

scotinoz will definitely check that out.
Will also look at the wooden toys in Ali for something small, already got a colouring book, crayons and some sweets so that could be her sorted.

Thanks everyone Smile

My DD will be 18 months at Christmas but has a sister 20 months older so we seem to already have everything!
She's getting the Happyland train set (she loves Happyland and trains so perfect!)
Wooden Noah's ark
Wooden crib for her doll (DD1 was never interested in dolls, DD2 loves them)
Peppa pig aeroplane play set
Tin tea set in a carry case
Wooden building bricks

We have the Melissa and Doug felt food mentioned above (sandwich one and pizza one) and I second that recommendation
